Were they trying to aggravate us with Dead Money?

Post » Wed Jun 02, 2010 4:50 am

I like Fallout New Vegas a lot, but Dead Money was by far the worst ordeal I've experienced since trying to collect all the steel ingots on FO3 The Pitt. (Even though that was optional)

I just finished it and it seems like it wasn't designed to be "fun" at all, it seems in my opinion it was designed to be frustrating and aggravating to make it seem like it was lasting longer.
And near the end of it I was just praying for it to end and was fed up with the whole game....

I may wait to see what people think of Honest Hearts before I consider buying it, I want to play video games to have *fun*, not frequently hearing high pitched beeping around corners, obnoxious enemies and toxic gas clouds.
I dunno I love the game but it just made me really frustrated...

Yeah. If Dead Money's gonna do all this svcking, it might as well do it in one place http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1180297-dlc-better-not-svck/

Gunny out.

I should have checked for that first, though I'm not surprised that others feel the same.

How do you delete the post so I'm not part of the flooding?

for me difficult and challenging is fun. What is not fun is being a walking tank that nothing can hurt.

I loved dead money. Loved almost everything about it.

I think you have to inform a mod somehow and they will lock it. They will do it anyway once they see the two threads are about the same thing just with different titles.

Your title at least says what is going to be in it. The other does not......

It seems like players these days don't react well to challenge.

It was plain frustrating and I'm really not looking forward to doing it again on this playthrough so I can get to the next DLC.
The loot was sweet, though.
