Werewolf and Vampire extras in this DLC?

I bought Dragonborn and haven't played it yet (plan to get to that DLC today) but I have seen in an article about it that if you are a werewolf at the time of the DLC you do get to buy some rings and be instantly friendly with a werewolf pack. So I was wondering if there is something similar for vampires too or is this DLC vamp free?

Side note, I know most quests in the main game and Dawnguard DLC don't really need to be done in any order because no one really acknowledges what you've done outside of guards, but is there a good time to do this DLC? Like is there a reason to hold off until you beat Alduin in the main game? Does that get referenced at all or is it the same dialogue before and after the main quest is done?

You need to have been recognised as Dragonborn before starting this DLC. I, personally, do it after defeating Alduin, but it isn't really necessary. In the matter of vamps, this doesn't add anything to 'em.

Thanks! I was planing on being a vampire for my first time through this DLC but I guess now I will stay a werewolf.

I appreciate the answers!

You do get a couple of reference if you beat Alduin. As you said, if you're a Werewolf, you have access to these very expensive ass rings.

As far as I know, there isn't anything for vampires. Probably for the better. Dawnguard already focused on them.
