Occupation: Money Lender: Pretty much the financial backer of the Gunn clan.
Clothing: Dresses very posh. Imported silks and linens and wools, often in garish colors. Ah, the trappings of nobility.
Possessions: Large coin purse, various weights and scales, ornamental jewel-encrusted dagger, elaborate pipe and herb to smoke in it, quill, ink and parchment.
General Personality: Billy has an excellent mind for money and intrigue. He is extremely underhanded, hence why he is now a Very. Rich.Man. Free with his money when spending on himself or Colin (he has to impress the man in charge, after all).
Relationship with Clan Chief: Considers himself Colin's "Right Hand Man". Colin thinks of Billy as his moneybag.
Formative Memory: Earning his first shilling, then turning around and using that shilling to triple his money cheating in a dice game. He realized from then on in that he could earn a pretty penny swindling people.
Life Goal: The richest man in the world.
Hobbies: Loves to spend money on whatever looks shiny and expensive. Kissing Colin's backside.
History: Billy grew up in Colin's shadow, admiring him from a young age. Has always been at Colin's hip, following his ascension to power as Colin's financial backer. Learned at a young age that money would make him powerful (as long as he used that money to keep Colin happy).

Possessions: An old axe that was broken and reforged many times, an iron hook to drag trees, a large collection of wood sculptures representing many animals.
General Personality: While he's not the smartest man around, Earl Sneed of the Sinclairs is thick headed, and once he has an opinion about something, he won’t give it up.
Relationship with Clan Chief: He really likes Ernest Sinclair, being his friend since the beginning of Ernest's reign, and Earl won’t tolerate anyone disrespecting the leader's authority.
Formative Memory: When, at 13 years old, he went on his first woodcutting expedition and was given the axe he still has.
Life Goal: To sell his incredibly lifelike wooden animal sculptures to the four corners of the world.
Hobbies: Wood sculpting, drinking ale, crafting furniture, getting in heated arguments (and fights) over some subject after drinking too much.
History: Earl has been a lumberjack his whole life (or tree pusher, as his father used to say), going deep in the woods much of the winter with other clansmen and bringing the wood back to town by river. He founded a family when he was barely twenty years old, but his wife recently passed away in a very cold winter and his three children went to the fancy cities far to the south rather then continue the family tradition. He's now alone and spends most of his days in town making sculptures and drinking.

General Personality: Matt lives for the glory and honour of the battlefield. To die for his clan would be a greatest of honours. He has the utmost respect for his fellow clan members and is hateful to anyone that opposes them.
Relationship with Clan Chief: Like most clan members Matt respects the Clan leader and his decisions, Matt never questions an order and truly believes that the Clan leader will lead them to greatness. As one of the few full time warriors Matthew is trusted and respected for his job.
Formative Memory: Matt’s greatest moment was in his first battle with one of the lesser tribes at the age of 16. His first kill was the other tribes ‘greatest warrior’, although some claim it was luck Matt believed he was able to kill the other warrior because he showed no fear and took much pleasure in the kill.
Life Goal: Matt wishes to be known as the greatest warrior of all time.
Hobbies: Matt is usually found practicing for battle or up keeping his weapons.
History: Matthew was born and raised in the clan, as the son of a famous warrior; Matt was expected to be one of the best. From an early age Matt was trained and pushed to his limits to meet the criteria of a perfect warrior. After many battles he became a fully fledged warrior and although he may not be the best, he’s working his way up the ranks.

Clothing: She wears a forest-green woolen dress with small black details, an off-white waist apron with two pockets on it and a pair of dark leather boots
Possessions: A rag to clean tankards, a simple pendant shaped like an inch-wide circle hanging in a string around her neck, and a key to the backroom of the tavern she works at.
General Personality: She has a habit of spacing out and daydreaming. Her default mood is happy, and she is generally hard to anger.
Relationship with Clan Chief: Gunn groped her butt once, but other than that they have never been around each other. Kayla doesn't have anything against him, and she thinks that he seems like a reasonable guy.
Formative Memory: All the tales she was told as a child about prince charming riding on a white steed has made her a hopeless romantic.
Life Goal: She wants to live in a cute little hut at the edge of a lake along with her prince charming, a dog, a cat and two horses.
Hobbies: She likes to dance and sing. She spends her spare time having fun by the bonfires in the evening.
History: Kayla lived in a small village until she were 17, before she decided to get out and stand on her own feet. She traveled to the central village of the Gunn clan and got a job at the tavern where she has worked ever since. She spends her days daydreaming about how one day 'the right one' will walk through the door and sweep her off her feet.

Relationship with Clan Chief: Patrick is friendly toward the clan leader and looks at him with aspiration. The clan leader hardly knows of Patrick’s existence.
Formative Memory: When he sold his first crop.
Life Goal: A king with a castle, a beautiful wife, wine, coffee and cigarettes to be shared amongst all the classes in his kingdom.
Hobbies: Throw rocks at trees, wrestle pigs, eat corn, smoke and drink coffee.
History: Patrick was raised in Ireland as a simple farm boy, he adventured and traveled around a bit, but eventually became a farmer once again as his knees became weak with age and overuse.

Clothing: He's wearing a brown robe. He does wear pants underneath to quell the cold.
Possessions: He carries the Bible, a wooden cross that looks a bit too big to wear around a neck, and a cane that he plans to gift to the next needy elder.
General Personality: Geoffrey is pious and charitable, but people rave most about his patience and his ability to listen - when he isn't alone.
Relationship with Clan Chief: Geoffrey believes that Alan, while displaying his own admirable traits, would be better off if he were to adapt to a more quiet, pious life. However, he has kept quiet, as he knows how this would conflict with Alan's character and how it would spoil their relationship. Alan respects Geoffrey's work and his characteristics.
Formative Memory: When Geoffrey was a boy, he questioned whether his God was real. While sleeping under a tree, the question arose in his dream. In the dream, he looked up at the cloudy sky and thought "do it, throw a bolt of lightning down." Feeling rain, Geoffrey awoke and ran inside, where he saw a bolt of lightning strike the tree he was just under.
Life Goal: Simply to reach heaven.
Hobbies: In his life he has few, if any.
History: Geoffrey's family wasn't poor, but they weren't any important, either. Due to his aforementioned experience, he turned to his profession at the age of 16. While he is still a monk, he has always been a bit more social then the usual monk, and he continues to grow socially.

Occupation: Hunter although he doubles up as a warrior in times of war.
Clothing: Leather jacket that doesn't join in the middle, exposing his hairy chest. A tartan kilt covers his modesty, although he says he shouldn't need one. Leather boots protect his feet.
Possessions: Shortbow, animal skin flask, bread and flint.
General Personality: He is relatively quick thinking and always progresses with the goal in mind. He is mentally strong and enjoys company, whether it's his own out hunting, or his own clans, in the tavern. He has a hatred of the English.
Relationship with Clan Chief: He approves of the clan leaders ambition but thinks he should focus more on killing English rather than killing the other clans. The Clan Leader enjoys his hard work at hunting but thinks he needs to drink less Beer. Overall there is mutual respect.
Formative Memory: There was this one time, he killed a deer and a lost Englishman on a hunting trip and then got free beer after. Good times.
Life Goal: On a battlefield slaughtering thousands of English. Whilst drinking beer.
Hobbies: He drinks beer often with his brother, Blar (Bang). And kills things, he enjoys killing things more if they're English.
History: As a child, he and his brother Blar had a mystical habit of returning home covered in blood. They refused to say why. Dubh's quick thinking and objective focused mind meant he was a natural choice to become a hunter and he has become very proficient at his trade. Once he found a brutally mutilated body of a fellow clansman. He tracked some prints down and found English people there that had tortured and murdered him. Unable to handle so many of them he had to retreat. Because of this he feels he let his Clansman down and he has sworn to kill the English as often as he can.

General Personality: A jovial sort who is easy to get along with. He enjoys the company of others as his work leaves him isolated most of the time. Alberic is hard to anger and has a great deal of patience. Has a great passion for reading and writing. Passes out at the sight of blood and gore.
Relationship with Clan Chief: Alan Sutherland has come to respect and utilize Alberic's skills even though he isn't a warrior. Alberic in turn also highly respects Alan and the Sutherland clan as a whole and is grateful to them for taking him in.
Formative Memory: Early in life Alberic's family was murdered by savage barbarians. This incident has scarred him as he picked a profession that kept him as far away from violence as possible.
Life Goal: To find a woman who understands him and settle down in a heavily protected settlement.
Hobbies: Reading, Writing, Learning new facts, and tasting various sweets
History: Alberic was born in a remote settlement where he raised for the first 10 years of his life. His mother was a poet and his father a fishermen, his mother was the source for his love of reading and writing. Shortly after Alberic's tenth birthday his home was overrun by merciless barbarians who slaughtered everyone living in the village. This event scarred him for life which he only survived by hiding in a crawlspace in his families home. After the savages left, Alberic ran until he happened upon a camp of soldiers from clan Sutherland. He was taken in with the hopes he would make a soldier in a few years. They were disappointed because Alberic couldn't handle a weapon and fainted at the sight of blood. Alan Sutherland found out that he was a excellent writer so he made him chronicler & book keeper for the Sutherland estate. His job was to trace and record the history of the Sutherland's, while also keeping the books on expenditures for the clan.
9. Mighty Racoon:
Name: Modryn Oreyn

Occupation: Tavern owner and hunter.
Clothing: A long, white overcoat. Black trousers tucked into a pair of black knee high boots.
Possessions: A quill, a purse of coins, several pieces of parchment and a small blade (in case of trouble)
General Personality: Extremely hardworking, his job is his life. Not many know his actual name, instead referring to him as 'The Landlord'. Slow to anger, but just as slow to calm down if he does rise. When his family are threatened, he won't stop until every single person involved is either mauled or in someway dead! But only if his family are physically/verbally attacked. He can handle attacks on himself in a relatively calm manner.
Relationship with Clan Chief: Modryn and the Clan leader get on brilliantly. Always there on hand when help is needed, be it with money or organizing others. Modryn respects his leader, and that respect feels mutual.
Formative Memory: When his Father, who died a few years previous, turned around to him and said "With great power comes great responsibility..." (sorry, had to be done). Ever since, he has used his power to run an honest Tavern and to help people, allowing it to almost overcome his life.
Life Goal: Retiring on a large stash of coins...having worked hard his entire life, this is what he looks forward to, spending it with his wife and child.
Hobbies: He enjoys a spot of archery, and is currently teaching his son how to wield a bow. Hunting also. He also enjoys writing poetry, and has given many public readings to the village.
History: Modryn comes from a relatively well off background...not minted, but luxuries were plentiful. He was raised hunting with his Father, and always wanted to be like him. His father owned the most successful Tavern. At the age of 12, he was introduced to the basics of running and managing an establishment. At the age of 14, he was already surpassing his Father with his work...this allowed his father to take an early retirement, as he was dying. Unfortunately, his disease was never allowed time to kill him, as he was set upon by a bunch of Thugs on the way back from the Village hall one evening. Having been left for dead, he bled out in Modryn's arms. From that day forward, he swore revenge on those thugs, and he's sure that he would recognize them should they show their faces again.

General Personality: Angel is seductive, tempting and flirty. But at the same time she will robe you blind, which makes her selfish and cunning. She is also very stressed out, but hides it pretty well.
Relationship with Clan Chief: Alan thinks a lot about Angel, after all he is her highest paying "client".
Formative Memory: Her father used to beat her, and thats why she hates Englishmen so much.
Life Goal: Open a restaurant.
Hobbies: She likes to drink in her spare time, and make fun of the English.
History: Growing up in England, she never really cared for the Scottish clans, until one day her father came home drunk and angry. After that day she ran away form home, met a travelling Scottish salesman, she stayed with the old salesman for sometime, till he died. After his death her life went down hill till she meet Alan, who was the first man to care for Angel in a long time. She fears though of what might happen to her if Alan passed away, and this is stressing her out considering Alan's old age.

General Personality: Generally amicable, but distant towards strangers. He has great respect for others who provide for the clan, but little respect for the average warrior who fights only other men.
Relationship with Clan Chief: Griogair admires the cunning and tenacity of Ernest, but doesn't trust him. Ernest respects Griogair for his role in the clan but is equally wary of him.
Formative Memory: The day he made his first kill. It was messy, and he had to slice the animal several times before it died. Seeing the torment it endures he vowed never to inflict any pain where possible.
Life Goal: A craftsman, but his work is too imprecise because of his disability.
Hobbies: He likes to carve, especially small wooden sculptures.
History: Griogair was born blind, but as he grew up he quickly adapted to the clan lifestyle, and his enhanced senses of smell and hearing helped his hunting skills, even if his lack of eyesight cripples him. Unfortunately, he cannot observe fine details, so his lifelong dream to become a craftsman has never been realized.

General Personality: Piers is without a doubt a distant person from everyone else, he has usually a formed agenda of his own which usually does not include many other people. Self sufficient to say the least. He Never slows down and is always training to keep himself from falling behind.
Relationship with Clan Clan Chief: Gunn sees potential in a man like Piers, one who is an outside agent who can work to better himself and the other members of the clan, an agent for the bettering of the clan.
Formative Memory: Piers remembers the days when Raiders attacked a smaller Lemurian outpost where he lived, his home burned.
Life Goal: A united Mediterranean Nation obeying one leader and becoming all powerful, with him as the leader.
Hobbies: Watching the ocean, Climbing, Carving
History: Piers was the son of a merchant who represented a larger city called Lemuria in the Mediterranean Sea, after his home was destroyed, Piers took several belongings and drifted on the sea for days, where he studied the instruments he had, and learned how to use them, he drifted into Italy and began to travel north. He Found himself in Helmsdale after going from town to town as a cartographer.

Clothing: An old white ankle-length tunic beneath a long black cloak fastened at the neck. A metre length of rope serving as a belt. His shoes are brown leather, loose fitting and ragged.
Possessions: A rosary made of red stones and a pewter crucifix. An old, worn copy of the Good Book. Many manuscripts and notes concerning theology and Dominican teachings, both by others and those written by himself. Quills, ink, and blank papers.
General Personality: He is loud and dogmatic in speech. He preaches meekness that he does not often follow. Has a sense of overbearing self-worth, thinking himself more pious and closer to god than the common man. When not preaching the Word, he buries himself in prayer, study, and contemplation. Though he is outwardly aggressive, it belies a certain cowardice that may reveal itself if presented a true test of character.
Relationship with Clan Chief: His relationship with Sinclair is not close. He is present enough in clan activities, but it is unknown whether that is because his opinion or simply his status as a pirest is valued. He personally sees Sinclair as an opportunity to expand his influence with the population, something he sees as a necessary and justified station to perform his work.
Formative Memory: His boyhood priest was particularly fiery. An aspect that spoke to a sense of deserved right of judgment. His early church experiences were responsible for much of his decisions in life.
Life Goal: Sometimes it seems he would be better suited as a prosecutor or inquisitor than a simple priest.
Hobbies: Reads scripture and theological essays.
History: He joined the Domincans early in his life, undergoing rigorous studies and teaching. After fathering a child out of wedlock, he denounced the woman and ran her out of town. He left soon later and arrived in Helmsdale where he allied himself with one of local clans leaders in an effort to cement himself as the town chaplain.

Name: Konáll Quickjaw
Age: 23

Occupation: Armorer
Clothing: Dark brown leather vest with white cloth shirt underneath it. Kilt and stockings.
Possessions: Hammer, dagger, bits of leather.
General Personality: Konáll acts before he thinks. Being known as the "Quickjaw" he usually talks a little too much for his own good. Although his intellect pays up for it and is usually the one to help solve any problems when given a task.
Relationship with Clan Chief: Konáll had always looked up to Colin Gunn. Colin acted as a brother to Konáll ever since that horrible day and would be the one to always have his back.
Formative Memory: When Konáll was younger his brother had been kidnapped by passing invaders. It had impacted Konáll emotionally and from then on he began to protect close ones and make sure they were always by his side.
Life Goal: Konáll had always wanted to settle down in the wilderness and live on his own. It had always been his dream to fend for himself and live a life of solitude.
Hobbies: Konáll is usually found wandering the village watching over people. He has a liking to studying others in his free time.
History: Konáll was a normal child when he was younger, but around the age of nine his older brother was taken away. From then on, Konáll began to watch over others around him and knew it was his job to protect them. Hence, he became an armorer. He eventually stuck to following Colin around and ended up where he is now.

Occupation: Full-time daughter.
Clothing: A long linen dress with a thick fur shawl fastened at the shoulder. A pair of leather boots cover her legs and feet.
Possessions: An ornate brooch (probably stolen), a small knife, a bible.
General Personality: Some say Freydis is a snob, but she just sticks up her nose and walks away. Freydis is usually quiet and distant from her less privileged peers but has been known to have a decent conversation or two. She enjoys reading, dancing and money. She's not afraid to fight if she has to.
Relationship with Clan Chief: Like most members of the Sinclair clan (*Cough*) Freydis is very distant from her father, but she has no doubt he loves her at least a little bit. After all, she is his only daughter.
Formative Memory: Freydis vaguely remembers seeing many strange women in her house during her childhood. She was never allowed to speak to them, and she's always wondered why.
Life Goal: To become Queen, or at least a Lady.
Hobbies: Reading, Dancing, sitting outside.
History: Freydis was born into the Sinclair clan and from birth showed signs of great leadership. Unfortunately, being a girl, she's had to settle for just leading the women of the clan. Now upon her 18th year of age, Freydis somehow persuaded someone in the clan to take her along to the town.

Clothing: He wears his Chain mail armor with his helmet, his tabard, and some very worn but sturdy boots
Possessions: a 5'6" Kite Shield, a hand and a half sword, a small pouch containing black rocks that catch fire (aka charcoal), his saddlebags, a shortsword as his backup weapon, flint and tinder
General Personality: Tends to take command of situations, maintains a calm demeanor at all times, including when under pressure or in the heat of battle
Relationship with Clan Chief: somewhat strained due to his (Alexander's) crusader status
Formative Memory: Leading a raid into Islamic territory and winning a small battle (3-1 odds against him)
Life Goal: Jerusalem free of Islamic Influence
Hobbies: Maintaining his weapons and armor, protecting the weak and infirm
History: Alexander is a somewhat distant relative of the Alan Sutherland. He left one day around 12 years ago to help in the Holy Land. He made it to Acre and helped defend the walls and lead raids as needed. Unfortunately due to some... pleasantries with some locals he was asked to return home 3 years ago. He is just now returning home.

Clothing: A thick brown leather vest with chain mail covering, thick black gloves, brown canvas pants, and rough leather boots.
Possessions: A chunk of steel and a chunk of flint for making fire, a pouch of salt, a buckler, and a short sword.
General Personality: Not a barbarian, Duncan tends to be more diplomatic than aggressive, unless the situation requires. He is patient and intelligent, which is why he deals with armor and weapons, because he understands what the situation calls for.
Relationship with Clan Chief: Duncan and Ernest are on very good terms. Having grown up and fought together for much of their lives, they are more or less brothers. Short of sleeping together, they are very close.
Formative Memory: In a raid on his home village as a teenager, Duncan's love-interest was killed by the invading force. He's managed to put it behind him, however has sworn that protecting those he loves comes near the top of his priorities in life.
Life Goal: In a perfect world, Duncan would be fighting to protect those who he loves the most, in any possible way he could.
Hobbies: Duncan likes crafting weapons. He often creates new types of weapons and tests them, however would never go into battle with an untested piece. He also enjoys cooking, hence why he carries around salt. If he can find a tasty looking sheep in the wild, he'll whip up a fire with his steel and flint and cook the intestines, slowly seasoning it to haggis. Delicious.
History: Duncan led a satisfying childhood, with caring parents and a large number of friends. As he grew into his teens his father taught him how to box, and occasionally taught him how to use weapons. When he was 18, a group of Celts came and burned his village to the ground. His father and mother managed to escape with him (killing a number of the enemy in the process), but his girlfriend was killed. They soon managed to settle in a different area, though he was forced to leave and forge his own path. When he was 25 he was attacked by a pack of wild animals, and was close to dying when he was saved by the (then small) Sinclair Clan. They nursed him back to health, and he swore an unspoken debt to them, swearing to fight with them until he died. He has since honed his skills, and become close with the leader, Ernest.

General Personality: His heart is in the right place, he honestly thinks that he is helping people by trying to heal them. When he actually manages to help someone he becomes too proud of his work. Always thinks before he makes a medical decision and is religious to the point where he consults the Bible for even the most basic of problems.
Relationship with Clan Chief: When the leader gets sick Criostal is the first person summoned. Because of this they are good friends even though Criostal's "healing" methods are likely to get the leader killed one day.
Formative Memory: When he was young he witnessed his uncle die slowly and painfully from an infection and since then he has been motivated to cure illnesses.
Life Goal: A doctor so talented that his faith "healing" powers match those of Jesus.
Hobbies: Is a huge fan of gambling(some would say addicted) and enjoys drinking
History: Being a rather weak child he was looked down upon by the Sutherland clan and while all the other children trained for combat he was sent out to scout and deliver messages. One day while on a a delivery run he discovered an abandoned church and inside he discovered need for religion. He spent the next few years of his life preaching and once his uncle died he became focused on using his faith to heal others. Since he never had any formal training with medicine he basically just made stuff up as he went along to find out what worked and what failed. General Personality: Gruff. Dispenses monotone wisdom when asked or when the situation requires, but he often deadpans a joke into his brief statements.
Relationship with Clan Chief: Colin Gunn and Old Macduff have a contentious relationship, because when Colin rose to power Macduff tried to stand in his way. However, Macduff's skill with a cleaver and sharp intellect, combined with his years of accumulated wisdom, give substance to their relationship. Colin often takes Macduff's advice, but not before checking with others he trusts to make sure it's not a trap or a trick. Which it has been from time to time.
Formative Memory: His wife and children were murdered because of a series of misunderstandings, though he doesn't know exactly by whom. Searching for answers, he took years to come to peace and his only solace was that life is a long joke. Now he's always laughing, but privately.
Life Goal: See every sight, taste every flavor, hear every sound. Laugh.
Hobbies: Chops meat, sculpts clay figurines.
History: Old Macduff worked for the Old King, but then the King died and Macduff threw in his lot with a challenger for the throne. The rebellion was quickly put down. Macduff's wife and children were slaughtered. He was of course dismissed by the next king and fled to Helmsdale, where he took up butchery.

Name: Gregory Marshall
Age: 28
Gender: Male
Clan: Sutherland
Occupation: Artist/Painter
Possessions: Some standard paint brushes, a bow and arrow, along with a small iron-bladed dagger, his hunting knife. Carries a small bag of fruit.
Clothing: Wears tan linen pants, along with a green wool shirt. He wears an apron when painting.
General Personality: Likes to keep to himself, and really only likes to talk to those he calls his friends. He doesn’t trust many people, but could care less in a sense about many things. He is considerate of others when it comes to important things in their lives, but does not like it when people complain about those things. He has an average sense of humor, but doesn’t like to tell jokes himself.
Relationship with Clan Chief: He views Alan as an experienced sort, and personally holds faith that the man can run the clan. His leader really appreciates Gregory, which is all he really cares about. Gregory does his job and is taken care accordingly. He doesn’t see a problem in his leader, or him to be unfit. He respects the leader for his friendship with his uncle and father.
Formative Memory: When he was with his cousin, who faced a horrible death after collapsing off a bridge in an accident. He treated his cousin like a brother, and thinks about him often. The accident happened when he was 16, and he remembered how sad his uncle was when his only son died. With this, he doubts he will have kids. He doesn’t want to put them through pain, or himself.
Life Goal: Greg seeks to only take care of himself and his relatives. He is always working on improving his painting skills. He wishes to serve his clan well, and merely do his job.
Hobbies: Greg loves painting, his job. Other than that, he enjoys hunting with his brother, and is actually, oddly, able to shoot an arrow.
History: Greg grew up always loving art and hunting with his uncle and father, as well as his brother and cousin (before he passed). With his father’s friendship with Alan, he quickly became a personal painter for the leader, painting all sort.
