I just finished all companion quests and gathered with Aela together the totem. Brought it back to the underforge and clicked on it.

I got cured and got the message at the top, got some graphics animations of a soul that came out of me.

but I can still become a werewolf and cannot rest when sleeping.

If you can still transform, then you didn't cure it.

And I don't know what the eff your talking about but lycanthropy is not cured with any kind of "totem" and certainly does not take place in the underforge.

As for not getting a resting bonus, that will continue even once you're cured, see my thread about it in the software/hardware problems/ 360.

There is a spoiler section ya know.... :facepalm:
