No, Todd said "we want to keep that an open question until the game comes out". If you actually read my original post rather than jump to conclusion, you'd have known that. Logic would dictate that when someone says something like that with a grin on their face, they're looking forward to you finding out on your own. So am I supposed to believe Todd's some kind of sick, sadistic bastard that enjoys sticking it to his fans? No! I honestly did not think werewolves were going to be in the game until seeing hearing that quote. He can turned my predictions on their head with those words and obviously other people got the same impression. You're just one of those stubborn
"I told you so" members who's proud they held onto their beliefs it was never a possibility even though evidence points otherwise.
Then don't tell people you want to use your Twitter account to answer questions if you're just going to be a dike about it.
If I'm buying their damn game and all DLC with it, they have an obligation to not lead me on.
So the only person you should be mad at, according to your "logic", is Matt Carofano, for breaking silence before the game comes out.
Todd
never slyly hinted that they were in. He never implied they were in. He said, "No comment." If you took that to mean "Ohmygawd he didn't say they're not in, so they must be in ohmygawd ohmygawd ohmygawd," then that's your fault. I'm not being stubborn.
I'm actually reading what Todd said instead of drawing a lot of uninformed inferences from it.
Pete isn't using his Twitter account to answer questions because he enjoys it- it's a publicity thing.
It's his job. And he's about as nice as I can imagine anyone being under the same circumstances. Remember the day he was inundated with idiotic tweets asking about whether characters would all breathe underwater?
Have you already bought their game and DLC? No? Then what obligation do they have to you, again? And once you buy it, what obligations do they have? Their job is to provide you with a product. They aren't obligated to make sure that you're satisfied with the previewed features of the product before you've even tried it.
