Ranger Tom

Well, they started heading off to the east, but the fire obscured them pretty quickly. I wouldn't be surprised if they scattered from there.

Starts to pack up his telescope

I think that Sara may be right about the wolves not destroying the bridge, as Ranger Tom said, it was old. But it couldn't hurt to go search the bridge just in case.

Well while you all search the obviously suspicious bridge i think it would be best to search around the body, by this I mean Search the Fire Pit.

Since the victim has three jagged cuts (though why are there only three? some weird anatomy going on?) on his throat it would appear that he was killed by a claw, which led me to believe that whoever killed him has no weapon. Unfortunately, more than half of us here don't have weapons so the list is pretty long. I'll cross check with personalities and report back ASAP.

Looks up from her study book

Since these ‘wolfs’ are probably among us, I think it is also smart to search one of the sleeping arrangements.
Now I noticed Marty has a bit of a temper and Scruffy here is kind of the lazy type.
For some reason I think it would be smart to search either loop B or E. Might just be a wild guess but it might be worth to have a peek there.

Scratches one of her mosquito bites

So anyone with me?

What kind of mess do we find ourself in, the supernatural hunting for us?
I suppose ill make myself useful and aid in one the the searches rather then just stand by..
I'd like to inspect the fire pit more carefully along with the others that volunteered.

OOC: Sometimes. While it's possible and even likely (but not guaranteed) the closer search will lead to more evidence, I will try to temper them to be subtle so that most of the evidence comes from the kill - that way it is not to anyone's detriment should they decide to search anywhere else. Especially in this game, because it's got such a large quantity of locations up for searching. Basically, I'll be trying to keep the evidence in balance with the flow of the game, regardless of search choice.

wait, who are you?, how long have you been here?

yeah after rethinking things a bit, the fire pit does sound like the better choice, we can always check the bridge later.

Phoney Bone

Oh, cruel fate! How could you do this to me? You can't do anything to a rich person he doesn't want! Turn one of the richest and most beloved people on this green Earth to this savagery? And no...wolves! Not only am I broke, but now I'm gonna' DIE broke! Oh, the pain! The pain...

...

God, I pity me.

Hmph, fine. So we know that this leader wolf guy, the Arch, is some kind of [censored] organizer or planner, or just good at communication, what with all the hand signals. Out of all you schlubs, the ones best fit for that are...

  • Rex. He comes from a military family, so he's gotta' be familiar with teamwork and planning in sting operations like this. Communication is also key for an astronaut.
  • Wolf. Heh, that would be fitting. Same as Rex, he's ex-military, ex-Special Forces, probably even more familiar with teamwork and hand-signals.
  • Charlie. He's calm and all. That's...really all there is to him. He's just here for completion.
  • Dana. She's organized, and cheerily so.
  • Trent. Oh, he's a calculating type, always three steps ahead. Doctor Otto Whats-his-name is right, I'd watch out for him, if I were all of you.
  • Jonathan He's not too bright, but he does plan things out. That's something.

I'll have this mystery solved by tomorrow, or my name isn't Phonicible P. Bone! And I'll have my money too!

Otto

Well, I have a suspect. It might be too early to be casting votes, but I think Trent Knowles (Northwind) fits the personality of the arch a little too closely for my comfort. He's reserved and calculating, and has everything planned out well in advance - consider that the arch didn't say a word, and gave instructions with simply a single hand gesture (which the other wolves immediately responded to). I'm also a little confused about why he was singing this morning, seems a little out of character (although he is colorful at home, if that has any relevance to camping).

Well, it's not like he's at work either, which is when he gets into his calculating mood. I'm suspicious of him too, but we shouldn't really hold that against him.
