Ranger TomMy, my, you sure are curious critters.

i really doubt the bridge collapsed due to old age on the same day the wolves emerged. it was obviously a trick to lure us away so they could use the distraction as a chance to attack, but i guess this is obvious.
was it in bad enough condition that any group of 3 could take it down if they worked together, or would they have to have tools or demolition experience?
Well, like I said. The bridge was old - very old. It was made of wood - the owners here think that added to the charm of the place.

About this dirt and grass on the body... Is it loose? Like it was sprinkled on top or is it pressed onto the body?
There's some that's loose, but... Hold on.
He wipes at the shirt a bit, plugging his nose for dramatic effect while he stands over the body. Looks like about half of it comes loose, but there's still a bit of dirt and grass that resists.

Could you go into more detail about the hand signal? Is there anything in the area he could've tripped over?
Well... It was like what an umpire does, when he sticks his thumb up and signals over his shoulder to call a batter out. Except, I didn't see a thumb on accounts of that wolf not having opposable thumbs. Know what I mean? And yes, there's these benches all around the firepit... But I don't think I saw anyone tripping over them.
