We were never in Hircine's realm in Bloodmoon, only that glacier.

but what a glacier it was. Gotta wonder who took the time to hollow it out and build all those daedric ruins.

Assuming they all exist, that would make sense. Why assume otherwise unless told explicitly? We know Wereboars exist. We've encountered them. I would assume it's simply a different variation of the same disease, just as Vampirism has many variations.

Yep, so far Wereboars, Werewolves and Werebears exist. Werevulture, Wereshark, Weretiger and Werecrocs remains to be seen....

Werevulture? That's worst than a Wershark...really? A Werevulture? How about a Wereduck?

The ear-splitting Quack terrified the villagers to the bone, for they knew that the fearsome wearduck was fast approaching for his monthly meal.

You will know when the Werewolves show, its pretty cool. And lets just say Hircine's realm is not only what we saw in Bloodmoon. :D

:D So does that mean we can hope for werewolves in the next game? I mean why put something in a book that hasn't shown up since Bloodmoon without mods than not put it into the game when we have Seen it before? :D

We can only hope and wait. Everywhere online you see Werewolves being wished for in Elder Scrolls: V and its rumored to be in Skyrim, to theres a high possibility we get to see some Werewolves and become one. Bethesda hopefully wont let us down!

Not only werewolves, but werebears, which are supposed to be the most common lycan in Skyrim.

They're part of hircine's curse. There were wereboars in Daggerfall, don't see why there can't be werebears.

Depends, if its in the game, we don't know yet. But in lore, yes, people can before a Werebear if bitten by a Werebear...if bitten by a Werewolf, they contract the Werewolf strain of Lycanthropy instead of the others.

They talked about werecrocs enough in the Infernal city to be proof enough for me; they dismissed the footprints at the very beggining of the novel as being from a werecroc, and thouht it was normal, albiet scary.

and when I think of werevultures, I picture a Bioraptor from Pitch Black

Perhaps Werecrocs do exist in ES lore, they might look like Daedroth's....I guess, there was once book where it says Hircine gave a Daedroth Lycanthropy to face off Sheogorath's bird...haha.

I always imagined a Werevulture be like the vulture character from "Spider-Man"

hey I hope not really hope not you migth give me bad dreams the taught of seeing them make me want to laugh lol

I prefer if they look like but ugly harpies since infernal city metion alot of were creatures one can hope that they appear in future games in the series Hircine needs to get his priorities and get out of the mainstream cliche lycans seriously a werebear maybe slower than a werewolf but in direct combat the better choice and ive never seen a werebear in a video game before

Diablo 2 LOD the druid class could turn into werebears. You had the option at level 8. but you need there werewolf spell to put points in the all important lycantyhropy skill

The Bloodmoon event happens every Era, right? Only on Solsheim, or was there other places where Hircine and his Werewolves came to Nirn to hunt?

Presumably Solstheim since there were other things rather specific to Solstheim's geography related to the Bloodmoon prophecy.
