Werewolf, Vampire or Neither?

Post » Sat Mar 29, 2014 7:05 pm

I haven't seen any of the skills at work, youtube has some vids but which do you choose or not choose?

I wonder if you can use fire skills even if you're a vampire? The constant hunger thing for me might get annoying after awhile.

Added in a choice for making both, werewolf and vampire.

I'm making 4 chars, one of them will be vamp, one will be wolf. The other two will just be.

Neither on main. Although I will get around to creating a Nord werewolf. Solstheim is one of my favorite areas, in both Morrowind and Skyrim, and Nord werewolf just fits.

Never been much into vampires. Perhaps at some point in the future just to try it, but no plans for any of my current characters.

I edited the poll so people can choose to make both vampire and werewolf. Thanks for reminding me people have that choice also http://www.gamesas.com/user/937009-jitterbugjazz/.

Haven't found any specific info on them, like what the downsides are. So i'm gonna go with no since it's probably something terrible like 50% reduced fire resistance.

Nord Vampire. Invigorating Drain looks awesome. Can only be used once per enemy but it stuns for 3 seconds, does damage, heals for 150% of damage done, and then recovers stamina and 5 ultimate per second from what has been said so far. Pretty much a "OH [censored]" button or for burst control.

Devouring Swarm which sends out draining bats to do AOE damage and heal you looks fun. The other morph makes you invisible while bats do AOE damage. Both decent looking ultimates. Poison mist looks really costly and doesnt fit into my build. I plan on being a Vampire Nightblade my whole time playing ESO. Once I turn its forever. I look forward to more morphs in the future also.

ya I personally dont think its a huge deal because I plan on being bursty. Also Vampires get damage reduction at low life with a passive. I believe it is 30- 50% of all damage is reduced plus invigorating stun and healing and all that good stuff. Also you can stack Fire resist I believe or just have at least one good resist ability. Poison MIst does damage and the other one is a good escape / chase and they reduce damage by 75% for the 4 second duration them, but they seem like they cost a [censored] ton and I am going to pass on them. Most vampires are most likely going to use Invigorating drain and Devouring swarm ult but we will see.

Ya and dragon knights templars haha. I feel like nightblades have the best shot as vampires. Escape and bursts.

I've never really had an interest in these kinds of things in games. I think the most exotic I get is the occasional Elf :)

making a bow/2h sorc......werewolf....purely for the WTFlolz....... range stealth crit, self heals, weapon buffs and gap closer + some nice burst, that is the beauty of 2h sorcs with bows ...then when they least expect it BAM werewolf on them! but that ultimate NEEDs to be reduced... 1,000 ultimate is overkill......at least there is a set that drops it by 33% but still lol...its not worth 1,000 ultimate in ANY way AT ALL.....i only want it because it looks awesome! and will allow me to jump up on a castle wall for the WTFlolz, 3 sec later ill be dead and its a waste.

I hope I can stand to make more than two characters because I would like to be able to experience all of the class skill trees. As many I want to roll a vampire nightblade.... but what frightens me about that is this:

When I chose my race / class / skill set I did it entirely on my own, meaning I came to the vamp nightblade conclusion because when I viewed the skills I saw one big thing called OVERPOWERED. I don't know if that translates into the game, but apparently other people catch on to OVERPOWERED pretty quickly and on their own initiative as well. Meaning....... Nerf bat. Who knows... I'm not there I don't know what's to counter.

meh the vamp skill drain essence or whatever it has been morphed for isnt that that awesome guys, in pvp it can be broken with a simple stunbreak like most other CC skills and once everyone figures out that there is a stunbreak function and how simple it is to use it, the skill will be a wasted slot because it will only tick for 1second before the target breaks free, thus 2/3 less effective

anyways, I still plan on being a vampire myself, and seeing as how there will be many others that will go the same way, my build will include fighters guild skills

Vampires:

Negative fire resist (50%). Reduced health regen if you don't feed

Werewolf:

Negative posion resist(50%)

Both werewolves and vamps:

Fighters guild abilities hurt and hurt badly. (Since you qualify as undead, and a talent point spent makes werewolves weak to those abilities as well)

I like vampires in ESO lore and games but also the vampire Ultimate looks pretty legit from info. Wonder how it looks ingame. Want to try the Devouring swarm morphed version. HEALS!! plus the 30-50% damage reduction at low life passive looks cool and sneak bonus with Vamp is always nice.

My character is not going to be any kind of supernatural. I hope we can hunt down players in same faction who do become one though.

yeah I like em too, and yes the ultimate skill morphed for health is awesome....Ive seen a guy use in one of his pts livestreams, and it deals decent aoe damage over 5 seconds and heals you for the amount of damage dealt to all targets

the animation looks similar to the vampire lord skill in skyrim dawnguard, the one in the perk tree where a swarm of bats surrounds you when combat starts

personally I will play my vampire with shadow cloak + feeding which will allow me to feed of a target in the middle of a fight if I manage to get behind the player....it heals full hp and unlike drain essence cannot be broken and doesnt take a skill slot, pretty awesome if you ask me
