Werewolf. 100% disease resistance and no major flaws like guards attacking you if you haven't fed in a while.

Being a werewolf doesn't significantly affect the rest of the game, vampirism really changes the whole playstyle. Consider that when you choose.

I simply really don't like Vampires and am in turn a huge Werewolf fan, so the choice was rather simple for me haha.

Agreed, Vampire requires some dedication to be. Nota whole lot, but like AwesomeDwarf says, it changes how you play. You will be going out of your way a lot to keep fed. I prefer Werewolf/Lycans myself. So much cooler to me. But its just my opinion, if you prefer to be a fang wielding blood drinker of the night, go for it! My advice for you though, save before you accept either curse/gift and see if you like it first. Good luck! I think it would have been awesome if Vampires also had a major transformation like the Werewolves. Maybe something like out of the Van Helsing movie?

I took vampire at a low level and am currently lvl 56 and still a vampire, I chose it for RP purposes more then anything, becoming a vampire and staying with it takes dedication, and to be honest is not very rewarding, only time i am happy about being a vampire is when i enter a dungeon an get my ass handed to me by a ton of frost magic uses and i reload the game an use wait for 3 days an get 100% frost immunity, but even then the problem of getting back to stage 1 is probably harder then what it would have been to kill off that frost dungeon with stage 1 vampirism

so being a vampire takes dedication, both in feeding an working around their flaws, for rewards that rarely seem worth the hassal, this may seem like i am talking against vampire, but its more of a warning - - - know what you are getting into before you start

I don't plan on curing my character of vampirism, mainly because i am trying to follow the story i made for my character, which has alot of spoilers...

If I could, I would be a Werepyre. However, you can't do that, so Werewolf.

Even better would be Were-dragon.

Even Even better would be a Draco-Werepyre.

AE reference anyone?

I have to choose werewolf. You would be surprised how useful being a werewolf is when your a Mage/Assassin. Some of the enemies are just brutal for characters who can only take a few hits. I get mauled by a bear in 1 hit with my Assassin, unless I am a werewolf of course :)

Since Patch 1.2 broke Werewolf disease immunity why settle for one or the other?

Werewolves can be strong if you know how to use them, but the combat style is clumsy and you don't take hits very well on master. The speed is nice though.

As I use illusion and stealth a lot, I can use basic illusion spells dual charged on any enemy (apart from things like dragons) that I come across, being a vampire would further augment that. Its really easy to feed as well, not hard to sneak about. The sun problem isn't that bad for me, I can easily regenerate/restore stamina/health/magicka with potions/enchantments etc. You also get the disease 100% resistance, but with an extra 100% poison resistance and a varied frost resistance. The only thing that svcks is the fire weakness. Benefits > Drawbacks.

I TRIED it, I took my Werewolf character and sat in a Vampire den just letting them attack me for about 30 minutes and no luck. I normally have trouble getting diseases but that was due to me being an Argonian so it shouldn't matter at this point due to the glitch.
