Werewolf versus Vampires

I`ve not tried a Vampire so far, so can`t comment on it.
RPing value aside, the Werewolf is just handy for an immediate berserk option. The howl ability is great for crowd control, allowing you to hunt them down once they flee (a tactic I`ve used on Thalmor patrols a few times and groups of Mages before they could ice spike me to death). The quick claw attacks are good if you need to disrupt something fast aka Dragon Priest. The immunity to disease is also handy. The only penalty? You don`t get the well rested bonus when sleeping...which is no bid deal. If you can play it right, Werewolf form can actually be quite powerful...a certain Dragon Priest kept killing me over and over with his firestaff and spells until I changed into a Werewolf and tore him to pieces :D

You're all terrible abominations. May the gods have mercy on your souls.

Yeah i've been hearing alot of pros and cons, about the Vampire, and I know first hand about alot of things about the Werewolf.

http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1312126-possible-werewolf-patch-for-the-near-future/

This is a thread I made to ask for a patch for the Werewolf (which now also seems to be also asking for a patch for the Vampire) if you wouldn't mind, I normally wouldn't ask, but check out the thread and lend some support if you feel the Werewolf and Vampire need patching to feel more powerful, if you don't mind please. Thank You :)

I personally enjoy the werewolf, even if you don't use it you get disease resistance at all times. I usually use it a lot to dispatch all early encounters in the early game but buy the time I'm lvl 20 I rarely use it... I thought I have outweighed its usefulness until:

Spoiler
I did the thalmor embassy quest and accidentally clicked out of the conversation concerning the gear I was going to smuggle in, this would have been a problem as I'm not a good sneak.... but luckily I changed into a werewolf dispatched all the elves in the first area then took their gear and continued from there.

Since this encounter I've realized that my wereform still has its usefulness and I now probably change into it once a day to cover lots of ground in discovering new areas and killing any bandits, forsworn,or anything else that gets in the way.

Vampires seem less fun, and more of a liability to me.

This is the reason I am going to become an extra for The American Werewolf in London, soon.
My Nord keeps catching all sorts of icky diseases, so Wolfboy form would be pretty handy.
