No it said no thing of the sort. However people did fly into wild speculation and assume that the frost troll screenshot that's getting blasted with a firespell was a wereyeti.... :glare:

That figures.

That's why they deserve an expansion. After the boring AI, the magic and the dumb factions, make an expansion just for werewolves. Frankly, I could care less of Dragon-born and the MQ. Just give me something to turn into.

Hopefully, all of those things above become a failure. Ha.

All those thing above becoming a failure => big slap to the franchise => the developer won't even bother to release any DLC/expansions and move on to another game project.

I wonder why you even bother to play TES in the first place.

Yep, they might make it into a DLC maybe. Nothing better than to concentrate on normal people who save the world. "I'm a human/breton/nord/cat/lizard. Hurp Durp Kaflurp....I don't have a double life of transforming into a savage beast at night because I am normal and regular. No uniqueness to me at all"

I play it because I can live another life in another world the way I want. Meaning, either being a vampie or a werewolf. What other free-roaming game with swords allow you to play as a werewolf? None. Yet Elder Scrolls delivered that experience in Daggerfall and Morrowind.

But each has it's owns reasons to play and opinions on what makes a good game. Am I correct?

Yeah cause you know, being dragonborn and being the most bad ass user of th'um since Tiber Septim isn't being unique or anything. But becoming a lycanthrope like countless other fools who didn't bring a cure common disease potion is "unique" :P

Well, we don't get to eat people and hunt down mortals as Dragonborn, do we?

Like I said, we each have something we like. Maybe if the Dragonborn was an Anti-hero or some harmful threat, maybe I would enjoy it. But that's just me.

No, giant CGI dogs are overrated. Awesome werebeasts are not.

I say this, werewolves are common in EVERY province. So they make sense to be anywhere. Werebears are the ones that are native to Skyrim. So, if anything we should see both. It doesn't have to be a either or situation.

Oh by the way it was WereWOLVES and Wereboars that were in Daggerfall. Werebears are only mentioned in the book ''On Lycanthropy" And if you want to stick the the lore as you suggest wereboars should not be in Skyrim. As they are only known to be in the high climates of High Rock and Hammerfell.

This.

Um I know I can′t judge since I don′t make the best polls myself but... most of the options are two answers, how is one supposed to answer that they want developers time spent on better things without saying they want spears at the same time ?

Give us more options instead but with only 1 opinion within each option.

Not trying to be condescending just saying its a niche, might be smaller then the other niche lurker's though. I mean todd is playing with a 60 million from investors who expect more then a vampwolf sim. Games cost big [censored] money these days you just cant play to the niche tune with $ like that these days. Even if this is the best game ever if it gets bad reviews investors go elsewhere.

Being a werewolf was very OP in Bloodmoon. Totaly ruined the feel of my character when i at night could jump around and kill EVERYTHING that easy. Being a werewolf/beast should be a curse, not a blessing.

I want werebears more than werewolves. They're common in Skyrim more than other were creatures and werewolves have been done to death in film and T.V. plus we've already had them in Bloodmoon, would rather have something new like werebears. Also whats scarier, more ferocious, a wolf or a bear? Imagine how more beastly a werebear would be compared to a werewolf.

Fair enough, but you shouldn't completely disown the other (arguably more) defining aspects that make the series what it is. You're being impudent here.

I voted yes for werebeasts.

Personally I do not think that vampires and werevolves are overrated. It's just that kids and young are changing, public is changing and how they show off stuff in the media is adjusted to those tastes for the best profit. That does certainly not mean that I like all te changes, concepts in Twilight "saga" are victims of overusing and pushing it (just like they pretty much ashamed the meaning of the word saga :P ) and that's why people start to think vamps and wolves are overrated.

The idea itself is not overrated, it's just that the whole vampire concept about weakness to light, crosses, weird eyes and crap is now totally passe, and what they both need is some heavy redesign with a drop of some oldschool flavor.

Hircine would say differently. After all, he hunts with werewolves during the Bloodmoon and in his Realm. No werebears in sight.

IMO first and foremost for Skyrim, you should have Werebears above ANY other, vampire or werewolves.

However having all three as the things you can become, would be very nice.

I think Volkihars are as essential as werebears, in my opinion.

nothing more ridiculus than a lizzard bvecoming a wolf xD

Worse for a poor cat, lots of mental problems in addition to chasing itself up in a tree.

True, Hircine obviously favors his pack of werewovles that hunt with him. As we see in Bloodmoon and the Infernal City. However, I think it's rather silly to assume he would be like "lol. You werebears and gtfo of Skyrim. Even though thanks to me this is your homeland." He is the father of all man beasts after all. I may roll with a personal guard of CIA agents but that doesn't mean I don't love the Navy Seals. See what I mean? Hircine doesn't seem so petty.

Edit* it's also good to note that one of Hircine's own aspects (strength) that he transforms into is a bear with horns. I'd say that shows he's fairly fond of the werebears.

Yea right a cat turns into a dog??

Is it any other way to look at it, only benefit for Argonian and Khajiit is that they are used to having a tail. Less problems then you close doors.

More serious yes to werewolves, no to werepigs, werebears or wererats. think about it, its the same but with a different and stupider looking body and some different stats. Werecliffracer could actually be different and interesting
