I regret not playing through as a werewolf in Bloodmoon. If I remember right I wasn't impressed with the animations (shame on me), but I can almost bet that if it squeezes into Skyrim I shall give it a round, with the improved graphics ans ani's.

Screw werebears. Oversized slow beasts. Werewolves are faster and more original than these fat furries.

Werewolf transformations should be twice a month. There are two full moons in a single month in Tamriel. Since there is Masser and Secunda.

I agree with you W & V...Werewolves are much better than werebears, but If possible it would be cool to see both...One question though: When do werebears
transform? Probably when they're around honey...

I see the same problem. Honestly Ive never heard of werebears except for reading about Bjorn in the Hobbit and thats different. Idk werebears just dont seem classic and fear inspiring. Werewolves and vampires are meant to be bloodthirsty hunters and werebears wouldnt really fit this IMO.

Call me nostalgic but I really loved Morrowinds Bloodmoon expansion, the culture of the Skaal and of course werewolves. Would you like to see Werewolves return as well? If so, how would they function? Obviously in morrowind, you had to kill one NPC a day but chances are it was a fryse hag you were gonna kill anyway. Werewolf clan/pack with bonuses for being a part of the group? Possible quests? Any ideas welcome.

Ok, nostalgic.

I wouldn't mind it at all but werebears are far more common in Skyrim than werewolves are, so if there are werewolves in the game, I would really like to see werebears as well, even if we don't necessarily get to be one.

Werebears and several other species of Man-beast are established creatures in The Elder Scrolls lore. Not only are Werebears more powerful than Werewolves they are the most prominent Werebeast in Skyrim.

For all the people who say that werewolves only change with the cycles of the moon, I don't know. In Bloodmoon you change every night, and there is a ring you can obtain that allows you to change at will. I like the idea of changing every night, but it did get a little old.

Most definitely! imagine the side quests that would make, a bit cleshe but i would enjoy chosing vampire or werewolf and then the opposite becoming your enemy, even better would be to make them have seperate clans with seperate bonus's like morrowind's vampires.

Yep. And let's stop talking about voice overs, fast travel, graphics, Dovakiin and dragons and all the other crap as well.

Werebears may be slower, but they're alot stronger/tougher. They're still more than fast enough to catch most humans too. Where a Werewolf can hit pretty hard with a series of rapid slashes and bites, a Werebear will just flat out rip your face off with a single swipe of his massive paws. Whereares you can take a couple hits from a Werewolf and walk it off, you really don't want to get hit even once by a Werebear. They're basically a tank that hits like a bull dozer.

Oh? Is that why Hircine uses werewolves in his hunts in Bloodmoon instead of werebears? And is that why he hunts alone with werewolves at night in his Realm and werebears hunt with nords during the day?

" "Werewolf!" cried the old bard who had been leading the song. The cellar exploded into chaos.I was pushed out the cellar door into the snow with the first wave of panic, but I could see that some of the more brave (or more drunk) hobos were rushing into the darkness to do battle with the lycanthrope. They were all, of course, almost instantly killed."

Werewolves have that strength as well. We haven't seen any werebears in gameplay, so we have to see how they play like, assuming they are ingame. I just hope Bethesda don't make them overpowered brutes.
