Werewolves/vampires be scary!

Post » Mon Oct 03, 2011 2:40 pm

So I noticed something, why am I not scared to enter a dungeon infested with vampires? In Skyrim they should find a way to make them terrifying, and if werewolves are in the game they should attempt to make them scary too.
If there are werewolves in Skyrim you should be scared to travel outside. I think some werewolves should be posted on the sides of the roads waiting for unsuspecting people. You should also be able to see a NPC get attacked by a werewolf also.
And when your traveling through a forest in the middle of the night, vampires would pretend to be innocent civilians that say "they lost their way" to where ever they were going,so they give you a quest to escort them back home and they stay behind you the whole time, and eventually they will push you down to the floor and hold your wrists so its harder to fight back and they are also trying to bite your neck. The higher your strength is the easier it is to push him of. The higher your agility is the easier you can slip from his grip. And the higher your intelligence is...I have no idea =( lol.

Well thanks for reading!

TLDR lol

any way I agree the vampires in oblivion are more then a little on the lame side. They should at least make them turn to dust when killed. Also the were wolves should transform back after dieing.

Agreed. A bit of the "making-adrenaline-rush-through-you" factor should be present wehn facing down a vampire or werewolf. Mostly a werewolf. They are far more beastly than the vampires, http://images2.fanpop.com/images/photos/8000000/Werewolves-werewolves-8012465-530-496.gif

generally the TLDR comments are frowned upon here.

on topic.
sounds like a good idea overall. the scary part anyways. i wouldnt want to be pinned down though. i can only see it being a quick time event. which i wouldnt want in skyrim.

At least the vampires in Bethesda games don't wear glitter. There is nothing less intimidating than a man with glitter.

One thought on werewolves is, if they're in you should be able to become one, but there shouldn't be too many either, like one really badass tough-to-kill kinda werewolf or a very small-ish (3-8...10 is pushing it) clan of the beasties. Because if there is just a whole bunch of them, it would take away from the "OH SH*T factor", at least in my opinion because they would just be out murdering everyone all the time, I guess this could be somewhat helped with the full moon system and what not, but seriously there would be SO MANY dead people in one night, it would be ridiculous.

This is just my opinion.

I just want an aura of fear when it comes to vampires in the caves.

I want to hear whisperings surrounding me. I want to feel their presence before I see them.

Ya werewolfs and vampires are more cuddly now a days then ever but I think going back to the times were they really scared the crap out of people is really had since modern age people so used to the emo version of them. I'm not saying that Bethesda can't do it but rather not focus on the things like making them scary, especially with a bit more then a month till release.^_^

when it comes to the werewolves, it's the same as the werewolves- I want to feel/hear them before I see them.

Howling, rustling in the woods. even the panting/growling. I want to see their eyes before I see them.

So you don't want vampires and werewolves to be sissies, so you would be afraid of them? Does that not then make you a "sissy"?
