Werewolves&Vampires 6

Well yeah but werewolves are cool, werebears not so much. (IMO anyway) Actually I'd prefer they went directly against the lore for the sake of coolness. *Prepares for the flaming*

EDIT: Unless they can have both of course, but I really doubt that would happen :o

I don't think you should judge before you have actually seen one.

Based on Todd's answers in the podcast, I get the impression that there'll either be no playable werebeasts, or several varieties implemented in a thorough and detailed way. It certainly wasn't a "we don't know if we want to add that," but rather "we want to, we're trying, and we will if we can do it justice."

So I'm still quite hopeful.

You might want to describe what "coolness" is first, though. :P

It sounded hopeful and more promising than mounts (i dont give a poop about mounts). Lets hope for the best!

And beggars cannot be choosers, so I dont care what type of werebeast we get or how its implemented as long as we get one.

Sneaky Todd.....very sneaky. But at least they are exploring it.

I was hoping he would have revealed it instead of dodging it, but I still hold out hope it'll end up in the game, especially after feedback from fans.

P.S. I asked the question...

It is all about what we like, I can clearly say I like werewolves way more than werebears and I have only seen concept art from daggerfall from them.

True true, I can't wait and it does sound very hopefuly

Thankz for asking the question lol
I was also hoping he would have just revealed it rather than dodge like he kinda did but atleast he just didn't say "We are not going to talk about that at this point in time" either lol

From what i got from Todd is that if there aren't werewolves in the game they will probably make an expansion for it like Bloodmoon.
To be honest i'd rather them do an expansion just for werewolves instead of throwing them in like just another guild or something.

Hell no. I mean, if werewolves aren't added in the game, they should be in an expansion. But that would take a long time! I mean, first thing I would do in Skyrim would check my stats. In stats, it will reveal if there are werewolves or vampires. I would start level 1 as a werewolf, not wait for some expansion. if it comes to an expansion, I wil lwait until they release it so I can do the expansion first.

Oblivion: Days as a vampire.
Necks Bitten

We can check if they have any Skyrim: Days as a Werewolf, People devoured, Sacrifices Made.

No, werebears would be considered less cool because there was always the Werewolf, in real life lore and fiction...always. Werebears were mentioned, but werewolves were the most known.

Might be hidden until you get bit ect. Easier to check the creation kit ;) Which is the first thing i'll do if we still have this question unconfirmed.

Its the confirmed "construction set" of skyrim :) You didnt know? Mods are most definitely in! Im more concerned with werewolves than vamps cause vamps are much easier to mod in than wolves who need separate animations/models/textures.

I really reallly reallllllyyyyyyy hope they get to werewolves, Im happy for now knowing that they are experimenting and or working on something of the like though!

Even more cause for them to include them xD

I need to... lay off the forums, concentrate on my school and come back in like 2-3 months and see if we have a confirmation cause this is killing me :cryvaultboy:

Yea, go study. I'm trying to get into military school still. Maybe next week I'll begin my first day. :P

Good luck on the studies and see you in a few months.

Even if they put werewolves in an expansion kinda like Bloodmoon i wouldn't mind waiting. I'm gonna be pretty busy with the main story and side quest to be able to wait till the expansion comes out. Plus i think it would be better so we have ALOT more for the werewolf quests in an expansion so i don't mind, kinda perfer it now

Yea, I did think of this. It gives werewolves their own story that they rightfully deserve.

I guess I'll make my vmpire characters and play. Then when the Werewolf expansion releases(Providing they are not included in the release) I will go ahead and make my werewolf characters. Fair enough. At least I get to be more than a boring "normal" person.

Trust me i wanted them to just have werewolves in the normal game play but then thought that if they do another Bloodmoon then thats tons of extra hours just for werewolf characters and i would much rather do that. I spent countless hours playing the Bloodmoon expansion, probably just as much hours spent in Morrowind lol

Yea, I suppose so. I'm still all for werewolves at start. Maybe they can add an expanion adding quests FOR werewolf characters? Sounds better at least.

Well if you start off with werewolves then thats gonna be less time for just werewolf quests and i doubt the expansion would add more quest just for werewolf characters, oh well gonna be happy with either one but would perfer the werewolf expansion

Fingers crossed then for vampires to be in the original game if werewolves are to be included in an expansion rather than the original game.

They are cold, because they are dead. And that frigid skin is doubled in Skyrim's weather.

Oh wait....I see what you mean.
