I think he wanted to face Hircine and become champion, even if that meant taking you out (the transformation) I felt it was a gift also, I would use it on monsters etc only and not citizens. I wanted to see Hircine's realm also and those ideas of the realm do seem appropriate.

Armor with wolf ears and a wolf snout and its hands staying up like paws, I doubt it, it might me unpolished and unfinised, its just concept art.

A suit of armour with animal-motif would be a nice idea.

It was added for Oblivion. We haven't heard of the Cyrodilic vampires in other games, except for Morrowind where they may be mentioned. "Imperial culture regards blood vampires as destructive monsters to be hunted and destroyed. However, romantic notions of noble, virtuous vampires persist in Imperial traditions, and vampires are thought to pass unrecognized in the Mages Guild and the Imperial aristocracy."

I think bethesda just added the lore to justify the reason the mechanics are backwards.

Cool story bro. Now go tell the other folks to give customization a rest. Give spears and crossbows a rest. Give everything else that seems like crap a rest. Because they seem equally interested about it as we are.

I love them both, my biggest hope is to be less buggy than in tes 3 and 4... hehe.

I would like the ability to be a vampire again even though you were cured once before. I dont like how being a vampire was a one time only thing. Though to prevent exploits, I think there should be long intervals between becoming a vampire once again

Do you guys/gals think that OB had vampires backwards? Seems that the more you feed the stronger you would get not the other way around.

Go back a few pages and read the comments. It was backwards, but some of us have to believe it's lore related.

I don't think it's backwards at all.
I always view it as if Cyrodiil vampires have some sort of "beast" in them.
Feed > Beast is pleased and leaves you alone.
Don't feed > Beast gets pissed, and you become more like it.(Because it's hungry?)

Works out for me anyway.

I blame Clavicus Vile. His fault everything is backwards. Check the lore and see that other vampires can't heal no matter how long they go without feeding. They even said their feral bestial bloodlust is "steeled" by Clavicus Vile.

Cyrodilic vampires get stronger and more resistant to normal weapons and effects, with the exception of fire. While the others need blood to get healthier and stronger.

Hu, thats a good way to put it, but, if you are a vamp you dont need to eat. or drink, then wouldnt you eventually just wither away? Not feeding made you really ugly like if you were aging right? aging = becoming weak.

I personally think its backwards, I cant remember how it was in MW, it was so long ago and I chose to be a werewolf instead.

How strong should vampires and werewolves be anyways? I think the boost should be a little more than what OB gave us tbh. I mean... as a vampire its a serious drawback to have to avoid the sun, and as a werewolf you have to kill and avoid being seen doing it.

Personally, the whole "old person look" was likely a bad attempt at making your character look more ugly and starved.

Hungry animals are much, much, much more vicious and dangerous than those who are well fed.
