Werewolves&Vampires 6

Personally, the whole "old person look" was likely a bad attempt at making your character look more ugly and starved.

Hungry animals are much, much, much more vicious and dangerous than those who are well fed.

Our character's weren't even meant to be ugly. Sure, the red eyes wre cool, but the wrinkles were annoying. Look at http://images.uesp.net//f/f1/OB-npc-Seridur.jpg. No one would expect it. He blends in good.

True but that is effecting their behavior, not eating for long periods of time will degrade you. You'll have less energy, and essentially become weaker till you die from starvation.

I'd prefer vampire having more interesting thing than just +20 mysticism and so on. Like changing appearence, summon undead, and levels up with age or quests becoming more powerful. Werewolves were amazing im Morrowind and maybe there's nothing to add about, just some stat tweaks, to make it more balanced.

Of course I hope they both will be implemented "bugs-free", anyway.

Also, vampires have a limit to their starvation. Rona Hassildor went into a coma because she did not feed. But Lord Lovidicus went decades without feeding.

Werewolves are much bigger, faster, and stronger than humans, we should definitely get boosts to stats to reflect this. Not just minor tweaks to make us slightly stronger to where we cannot even notice. Im not sure how stats and such work in Skyrim though so I have no idea how this would work.

Well since we (probably) don't have spell making anymore, there would be a chance that becoming a vampire would allow you to get several truly unique spells, right?
That would be pretty cool I guess.

Each vampire clan has different powers and spells. Some turn to mist, others can eat men whole, others can reach through the ice without breaking it(Volkihar) and some can infiltrate politics and rule whatever they want to.

I'd love to use that ice move on an NPC after freezing them with a frost spell...

Think Temple of Doom haha

I want to infect others(My companions) with vampirism and infiltrate the Empire's highest aristocracy. Am I asking for too much?

I have little doupt that vampires are in, they were in morrowind and oblivion. as for werewolfs, well fingers crossed.

What I really want to know is the depth and new additions to vampires and or werewolfs.

We need more lore on Lycanthropy and werewolf. We only have a few information that is backed up by in-game mechanics and facts that are parallel to real life lore on werewolves. The book on Lycanthropy

http://www.imperial-library.info/content/hircine

"The hunger or the Bloodlust of the Lycanthropes is legendary. Unlike Vampires that can survive without blood for a period of time, the Lycanthropes cannot. They have to kill once they have turned to beast form otherwise they would die."

http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:On_Lycanthropy
"My conclusion is that they do not need to attack and devour humans to survive. Yet, for some reason they do."

So which fact is correct? Obviously the first one. Both Daggerfall and Bloodmoon shows that a werewolf must kill a living person to wake up healthy in the morning. Otherwise they will die, so the book is incorrect on that matter.

Abominations? There is no such thing as a hybrid Lycanthrope and vampire in the Elder Scrolls, unless you try to do it in Bloodmoon, which was a glitch.

You didn't understand my post. I mean some minor tweaks about what is already done, I mean less buggy stat changes (remember mw conflicts with lvls up and with vampire stats?)

And ok, harder, better, faster, stronger... but (slow)falling down from mountains without no damage at all, as it were in mw, is not so normal.

When I think of werewolves in Skyrim, I think of William from Underworld 2. Oh well, as long as werewolves provide a sense of horror. I don't want them to feel like just another animal or creature. They're terrifying!
And Define them. They're a clan with lore. Do a Jeckyl/Mr.Hyde story sort of quest behind a certain werewolf. Show some uniqueness with it.
Werewolves ftw! :celebrate:

If the dragon born is supposed to end up being able to transform into a dragon, would that put a damper on becoming a Lycan? Or would you expect some hybrid dragon/human/lycan creature? (tribrid?) It does seem a bit over the top. Just saying.

Now a vampiric dragon on the other hand... :hubbahubba:

Of course we don't know what the dragonborn is going to become anyways.

Well, I said IF. .... and probably my time playing Dragon Knight Saga lately has helped that train of thought. I was just thinking that the developers must have considered it.. and maybe even like the idea.
