Werewolves&Vampires 7

Like someone mentioned above, things should look different to you as a vampire. Not only hightened senses but having sunlight brighter than normal to you'r eyes or maybe being able to see things mortals cannot.

Maybe as a werewolf being able to 'sense' living creatures near you (as in, being able to see trails - maybe highlighted when you use a specific ability, Makes finding wild prey like deer or elk, or people in the wild easier to find)?

Something similar with Vampires. Like a Detect Life effect.

That would definitely need a toggle, lots of people hate that sort of thing.

Yeah, that is why I suggested it be a special ability, not a passive one. I know a lot of people hate it, and I would too if it was there the entire time.

I forgot was Detect Life the one where everything turns blue and the characters have a annoying shinning blue light or was the that sometime mixed with Night Eye and Detect Life?

I liked having Night Eye in Oblivion with vampires since it made sense but I also think that the devs could have made it better without no color changing spell for vampires just by maken the word brighter at night for a vampire or whoever used the spell, no color changing effect needed.

Detect Life made every NPC glow pink. I didn't like how Night Eye or Detect Life was done in Oblivion. Night Eye was useless in the vanilla version anyways, considering the fact that all dungeons had ambient lighting.

Ya I hated both as well and sadly I was stuck with it since I own it on 360, I would just hope that this time for vampires or anyone who has the ability that Beth would learn to not add a stupid color lens over everything but just make it a tad brighter kinda like with the Light spell, use that but at a tad lower tone of it around a big open area for how long the spell lasts and how far

Would be nice. Finding people especially. Hircine needs sacrifices. I have a question, out of topic, kind of. If a werewolf kills a person and makes the sacrifice to Hircine, will the Daedric Prince claim that soul? I remember something about soul claiming in the Glenmoril Witche's letter of the Wolf Giver.

I'm all about being a werewolf, not crazy about vampires, but how many threads are gonna be started and just repeat the same stuff about what Todd said?
i'll add to it anyway..I hope they add an expansion to skyrim like they did in Morrowind: Bloodmoon.

I'm hoping it doesn't take an expansion to do at least werebears/wolves and vampires.

They just need to make them feel like their own unique class. Not like a simple +stat and little change over your own character, but like have an entire skill tree and unique powers that open up and let you lv up in if you become either.

It also needs to be in depth, have story behind it and affect things in the world.

If you don't like it than don't read it

besides we could say the same about....spears or when there was pod cast updates and how everyone and their mom would be here looking at them.
Its for fun along with just incase werewolves are confirmed its so everyone who posts here will know since we all know there are being topics on these boards that don't Need to be here nor make sense that would push down the topic about werewolves being confirmed if it was in a separate topic yet if people just posted it HERE in these TOPICS as they are made than everyone who has posted here will know, n than the word would spread.

I would love that, though to be the most efficient as a werewolf you'd need to be bitten at level 1, unless they add separate levels for when you are a werewolf... or the stats are unlocked when you gain kills/satisfy your Bloodlust.

Vampires vampires vampires.. The main reason I usually stay out of their unhealthy life style is Sun damage and the need to drink blood in order to keep yourself weak enough to not take sun damage.. But either way, if they change vampires or not, I want them and werewolves! Yay!

I have reason to believe that picture of that hot dark woman with red eyes and sharp teeth in an ice wraith.(They were confirmed in the GI magazine)

Who would even want werewolves in it? They're mangy mutts. Why would you want to play as one of those?

Hot Vampires FTW

hot vampires... r u serious... thats wut twighlight is for. People want werewolves because they are stronger then vampires and there are other aspects to them then just svcking blood. u get to completely transform into a beast who hunts people. plz no to "hot" vampires... this is elder scrolls not twilight. and y do they have to be mangy mutts. everyone loves werewolves. i'd prefer a werewolf over a vamp. it just looks cooler to me. imagine hunting humans by smell then pouncing on them or rushing them.

Ice Wraiths are serpent like creatures.
Might be a banshee(New creature?) But it really looks like a Volkihar to me.

How are you so sure the Volkihar will be in-game?

I've no reason to think she's a Volkihar vamp (other than hoping she is), but I'm pretty sure she's not an ice wraith - there's a screenshot of them in the same magazine, and they're inhuman, icy, insubstantial creatures. Awesome-looking, but nothing like the fanged woman in the concept art, as far as I can tell.

well i would like to intorduce a new player into this forum the were bear the lore mentions they are only found in skyrim.now im sure people will say but the lore says that were lions would be in cyrodill and they weren't when oblivion came about. perhaps they are only in the northern most regions of cyrodill meaning even further north then bruma.but still i think they should implement the illusive were bear imagine playing as one of these great and powerful brutes epic :3

If I had to pick, I'd say they should have Vampires not Werewolves.

The Vampirism experience adds on to your existing playstyle, whereas fighting as a Werewolf is usually restricted to melee.

But I would be definitely happy with them both being in the game - slaughtering lycans is one of the funnest things to do with a vampire character :P

If there IS werewolves, they need massive boosts to their speed and jump height when transformed.

Werewolves are people who turn into wolf-like creatures. They are not just werewolves in wolf form, but human. They receive bonuses in human form such as resistance to diseases and normal weapons. So fighting enemies during the day in human form would be the same as fighting an enemy as a vampire. You are still a pretenatural killer with a little boost.
