I'd love to see an easter egg for the Malkavians from the World of Darkness.
Like an insane vampire NPC called Malkav. It would be... Beyond the physical borders awesome.

its been forever since ive played morrowind but wasnt there a ring or something that allowed you to transform into a werewolf by equipping it no matter what time of day it was? vampires and werewolves should be in. i loved being a werewolf in morrowind so i would do it again in a heartbeat in skyrim.

I think the vampires should have claws of some sort, just like sharpened fingernails and they should be useable in combat and give the vampires bigger stat boosts, i want to feel that my high elf vampire could take out a orc with one hand.

werewolves. Nothing like saving, then going on an animalistic rampage, tearing through everyone possible. Plus I've always liked the viking/werewolf combination since they came out with bloodmoon. I doubt they'll add them in becuase bloodmoon was based on the werewolves in first place.

I'd really like the addition of Werebears, seeing as they are a unique twist on the traditional were-creature most fantasy games have. And since we're in Skyrim, it would make sense to see Werebears as they are some of the most common lycanthropes in that region.

I love Werewolves, but it'd be nice to have something out of the norm for a change. As long as they add lycanthropy, I'll be happy.

Werewolves and Vampires on the condition they actually have a purpose. There should be on going quests as either one like the Fighters Guild.

I'd love to be a vampire... And a werewolf would be cool if, on full moons, when you turn you go into a frenzy where everybody suddenly becomes your enemy, and actually try to kill you, that be INCREDIBLE!!!!!!!

Plesae Bethedsa if you don't already have it, please put it in!

LOL never heard of a "werecroc"

I've heard of wearcroc http://www.internationalreportingproject.org/images/sized/images/uploads/blog_post_images/footwear-307x259.jpg

I'd actually like to see all, but werewolves would be my first choice and vote. I did like being one in Morrowind. :)

From the locked topic:
I'm not sure if werewolves communicate...

If past games are any indication, they're pretty much just like any other creature when transformed, with an added need to kill to stay alive. When in their normal form, the person is usually mortified at the thought of what they've become and eventually go insane. Would be kinda difficult to build a community around people who go on an uncontrollable murderous rampage (at least) twice a month.. would you want such a person as your neighbor? Not to mention, it'd be a honey pot for hunters.

Werewolves dont actually NEED to kill, the book "On Lyconthropy" states that inside a Werewolves stomach, there were mostly berries and roots rather than flesh.

In both Daggerfall and Bloodmoon, you would die if you didn't kill/eat an NPC when forced to change, because of bloodlust. That book is just mentioning that meat is a small part of their "diet". not that they don't need to kill. In fact the author even notes this, wondering why werewolves have such a strong desie to kill if they don't eat that much meat, and goes on to say that there's no way to find out without becoming one, at which point it would be too late to study (then when you become one, you see why; you pretty much die if you don't kill).

Let me just say this. I will be disappointed if there are no werewolves, even more than if there are no vampires. Don't get me wrong. I will still buy and enjoy Skyrim, as I enjoyed Morrowind and Oblivion. Skyrim just seems like great werewolf territory. And, please, don't put in something like, wereboars. I don't want to be a stupid wereboar. I want to be a werewolf to rip npcs' throats out, Bad Moon style. And also, please, don't make the 'Werewolf' look like the 'Wolf-man'. If there is a werewolf, it better have a hunched over form, and a long wolf muzzle/snout. In other words, they better look like Morrowind's Bloodmoon werewolves, BUT BETTER, I mean, this is the 360/ps3/better PC graphics.

I seriously hope for both, As a vamp I love hunting werewolves and vice versa. They did it with morrowind both vamps and werewolves so why not with TESV. also the CoH mod for TES IV is popular enough maybe to get the devs attention to add back the were creature. Or maybe it is just wishful thinking lol

For those that don't know manbearpig is from South Park (some people were confused earlier so I thought I'd clear it up)
