Werewolves&Vampires4 : V - Skyrim

On the subject I hope they make it to where I don't instantly get infected with vampirism every time I get attacked by a vampire. I was expecting vampirism to be a fairly rare occurrence in Oblivion and then found out all I had to do to become one is run up to any old vampire and go "OOGABOOGABOOGA!!"

LMAO I read that and nearly woke my kids up laughing, it's so true though it should be made more of a challenge to become infected, maybe only certain npcs like Vicente could infect you perhaps.

For the werewolf or werebear a good example would be some of the art from Diablo 2. As for the vampires... 30 Days of Night. Just a couple of suggestions.

And no stupid ass werebearpig crap, I may not know my Lore but I am pretty sure that is not in there, it's bad enough we have kids in the game-___- All I want is werewolves n vampires, everything else IMO just sounds stupid n that includes werebears,wereboars,ect,ect tho that's IMHO

Well, Werebears and Wereboars are part of the lore. (Everything in http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Lycanthropy Although you've probably already seen it.)
And since Werebears are native to Skyrim I hope we will at least see those. If Lycanthropy is in the game, Werewolves are a given. So no need to worry.

Were kangaroo - you have extra carrying capacity and fast travel. You also get a free pair of boxing gloves.

Mor seriously - I prefer then not as DCl but in the mian game with both werewolves and vampires - It fits in well with the snow/mountanous theme going on.

A were-mole. You get bitten, you become a were-mole and gain the ability to fast travel by burrowing underground. But remember, you weakness is little purple dogs that can shapeshift.

and that is lore friendly, it would be incredibly rare though- due to everything transforming at the same time.

i dont think were creatures should be imune to disease, just incredibly resistant

Looked up the lycanthropy page on wikipedia ( were-shark research of course ) noticed a South American legend of a man tuning into a goat. The perfect Lycan for the cold mountains of Skyrim. Yeah, were-goat is the only way to climb the 7000 steps in style.

Not sure if it's been mentioned at all, but what about Liches?

I mean, lore-wise really powerful Necromancers are able to turn themselves into Liches. Wouldn't it be pretty cool if you could do this? Probably through some kind of quest. I assume it would be very difficult and require high magic skills, but think of how awesome it would be.

As cool as this would be it really depends on if the PC can use necromancy.

Vampires v. Werewolves is a pretty bad trope, especially in this day and age.
