Wes Johnson confirmed

Post » Fri Aug 26, 2011 8:31 pm

After Craig Sechler, Wes Johnson is now officially confirmed. TGL just released an interview with Wes Johnson (only part 1 is up at the time of this writing). Check it here: http://thegamingliberty.com/index.php/2011/08/26/the-speaker-speaks-an-interview-with-wes-johnson-part-1/

And one particular bit that you might find interesting (and reassure you in some cases):
Wes: Well what I can say is that I am but one, of seventy voice artists working on this project. So if you think you’re going to just walk into Skyrim and hear me around every block -- you won’t. That’s not going to happen. What you’re going to hear many different voices, like in any world, where the people you meet are different.

Rejoice, criminal scums!!! The speaker is back!

I'll sleep rather soundly tonight. That's good. I'll need a clear head to listen to Wes's awesome voice acting.

Heh, I <3 Wes Johnson. I also love how he's aware that his voice is EVERYWHERE in Oblivion.

Honestly I became sick of his voice in Oblivion, the less I hear of him and the other Oblivion voice actors the better.

Oh my gosh! I just posted in Craig's thread about Wes being a requirement for a TES game. I'm soooo happy about this! :celebration: He's definitely gotta play at least ONE Imperial guard.

He was the Breton voice in Morrowind!?
Wow! Never knew that! I loved his voice in Morrowind.

I still remember the line on to this day!
"Ah yes, we've been expecting you. You'll have to be recorded before you're officially released. There are a few ways we can do this, and the choice- is- yours."

I love this guy! I was so happy to hear his voice in FO3!

Hopefully I'll be able to find him in the deep sea of voice actors Beth has hired for Skyrim.

Absolutely! This line pretty much more than any other is stuck in my head. The exact sound of his voice in that line will be in my memory for very long time. I'm excited about this one.

Elder Scrolls would not be the same without his voice! Long live LUCIEN LACHANCE!!!!!! (Even though he's dead)

I like the idea of an Undead Lucien (Maybe his ghost come to find you)

Ok this is off topic but was wondering how to post a youtube link to start later than 0:00. For example, I might want to post a clip to start at 1 minute in. How do I do it?

1. Have a youtube video up and running
2. Have the youtube video loaded where you want it to start
3. Right click on the the video, pick the option "Copy video URL at current time"

There you go ;)
