Here's an idea, if Sheogorath is going to have a weird Scots/Irish/oops forgot I was doing an accent slipped back into American, what, he's the God of Madness, they'll think it's deliberate, we can get away with this shocking monstrosity after all, then can we just have Jyggalag instead.
Of course Sheo is a very interesting character, so maybe change his accent altogether, or scour Maryland or wherever, there are real Scots and Irish out there, and their accents aren't ridiculous.

Wes is a fine voice actor, but I feel he was over-used in Oblivion and would like to see other talent. I'm hoping Jeff Baker (did the awesome voices for the dunmer males in Morrowind + Imperial males in morrowind + Haskill in SI) makes a return.

Yes to Jeff Baker!

Unless I’m mistaken he also did all the Super Mutant voices including Fawkes and Uncle Leo didn’t he? That’s quite a difference from Sheogorath to a Super Mutant! He is truly talented. I felt Sheogorath was the best characters and best voice acted in the whole game.

I crave a dragon shout which freezes enemies instantly - STOP RIGHT THERE
I never actually realised that sheogorath, grey fox and lucien were voiced by the same guy as those darn guards, I was watching a few videos of wes on youtube an hes a funny talented guy but I think he said that as of yet he has not recorded anything for skyrim.

Hopefully the big man has something to record for skyrim ( as long as its not an entire race )

Heh, it's ironic, topics on voice acting seem to suffer from a horrible dual-personality disorder :). A whole bunch of posts say 'no famous voice actors, they're too expensive, just use good voice actors', and a whole other bunch seem to be 'we're tired of the good voice actors they used before, get some famous voices'. Bethesda are damned if they do, damned if they don't .

Incidentally, a comment directed at anyone who say's something along the lines of 'so-and-so's voice svcked in whichever game'... please try to remember that the voice actors don't just come out with whatever they feel like, and Bethesda are helplessly compelled to put up with it. Bethesda's voice director (Todd Howard, a quest designer or whoever) tell the voice actor how they want the voice done, the voice actor does what he/she thinks they're asking for, and then the director says either that it's right or that they actually meant something different. The point being, it's down to the director to get the voice they want. Lot's of people complained bitterly about all the Breton's in Morrowind having the same fussy old-man voice, and blamed it on the actor (Wes Johnson), forgetting that that's what Bethesda asked for.

So if the voice for a race in Oblivion wasn't what you liked, please don't just blame the voice actor for doing a horrible job or having a bad voice.

A good voice director can make a bad actor sound good. A bad voice director can make a good actor sound bad.

Luckily...."The voice actors are better, there’s more of them, and they’re working with more voice directors in Hollywood this time around."

If I recall correctly..
Male bretons in morrowind (maybe orcs too?)
99% of male imperials in Oblivion (Most notable Lucien Lachance!)
Mr. Burke in Fallout 3

Honestly, I'm tired of hearing his voice. He's a good actor and all that.. but yeah.

I'm tired of hearing every voice from Oblivion. I hope to God they don't bring any of them back; nothing against the actors.

He was the Orcs in morrowind, and Sheogorath in Oblivion.

I'd like to have Wes Johnson as a voice actor in the game, he's really good, but I'd not like him to be over used like in Oblivion.

Johnson sounded different in nearly every character he did, other than the main Imperial race. I think complaints of hearing him so often apply to the "race" casting of Oblivion. If they can avoid that, I'd like to hear him again. Sheogorath, Lachance, Arena Announcer, Fawkes, etc is a pretty wide range. Losing someone with that kind of flexibility would be awful.
