Looks magnificent as always Westly, just one question; since you are sticking close to the original Beth heads (love the idea of the mod beign plugginless) does that mean you are going to have the Dunmer with completly red eyes? I must say that I dont like the red eye pupil idea in the least, but love the original red eyes of the orginal heads

The original Dunmer heads had a mixture a completley red eyes, red eyes with black pupils, and sometimes white eyes with red pupils (especially the female heads).
Check out these screens http://img196.imageshack.us/img196/9658/trombinoscope01defaultm.jpg,http://img30.imageshack.us/img30/8774/trombinoscope02defaultm.jpg,http://img30.imageshack.us/img30/6475/trombinoscope03defaultm.jpg for examples - though theyre so low rez sometimes its hard to make out.

The new heads look great and faithful Westly - Im especially impressed with the new hairs you've textured for the Bretons!

I would love to see a complete set of new hires textures on the original meshes. This is really great work Westly, you never cease to amaze.

I am almost finished with the High Elves (the vampire heads are the only
thing left to cobble). Here are a few in-game pics of some of the High
Elf heads and hairs on respective NPCs:

I'm really looking forward to this pack, your heads are my absolute favorite. I also love the look of the High Elf vampires you posted! If a little constructive criticism is allowed, the HE male heads seem rather different in style to the HE females (more like the original Morrowind heads, while the females are more human-ized), which I personally find distracting - imo it's best for immersion if you manage to maintain a certain "look" throughout a race, and that's also something that would really set your replacer apart from the many existing ones.

I agree. Here again, maybe using the original meshes would help?

... :ninja: Ninja Release :ninja: ...

http://www.4shared.com/file/148166262/ae9c9fd3/Westlys_Pluginless_Replacer_Bretons_High_Elves.html

This mod is a pluginless replacer (which means no .esp is used;
rather, the mod directly replaces certain meshes already used in
the base game Data Files of Morrowind).

This replaces the meshes for the original/stock Breton and
High Elf head and hair meshes (utilising modder made meshes
and new high-resolution textures). The new look for these
heads and hairs seeks to keep the appearance of the original
versions with high-rez features and mostly photo realistic
details (Vamp heads included).

the base game Data Files of Morrowind).

This replaces the meshes for the original/stock High Elf head meshes
and textures (utilising smoother versions of the "vanilla" meshes
and new high-resolution textures). The new look for these

details (Vamp Heads not included in this pack).

Consult the READMES included in each download for more information

(Recommended to be used with http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=mods.detail&id=5883 as your base replacer and
then add these as you desire).

Yay! I don't suppose you're going to make an original heads version of the Bretons as well?

No, just the Elven races will recive that treatment (While I like the original Elven meshes
after a bit of TLC, I am not fond of the human meshes when the modder made meshes
are far more accommodating).

Perhaps in the future, but not now (as far as this mod is concerned ;) ).

Fantastic. The only problem I can see is the forehead on the "older" face. It looks extremely odd that the forehead wrinkles cross the eyebrows rather than being parallel to them. Just a thought.

only thing i notice wrong with this mod is the bodies look like crap by comparison. leave it to westly to make a mod so nice looking the rest of the game falls short of his work lol

Psh, you should just be happy the sheer awesomeness of Westly's work doesn't explode your monitor, because that much awesomeness can't be contained.

(I checked out the people in-game... awesome! :dancing: )

Good idea - these heads are beautiful, but I love VV as well. I've replaced some of the female High Elf and male Breton heads and hairs, as well as all the vampire heads.

Which races will you be tackling next, Westly?

In the Dunmer and Nord packs, are you going to include unique faces and hair for Barenziah, Helseth, and Tharsten Heart-Fang?

The Nostalgia from this picture I felt is amazing. After the millions of heads that Arrile has had in my game, this brings me back to the first couple of months I was unaware of mods. This is great.

Yes, Yes, Yes!!! :D Just one question though:
I use Beryl's Head Replacer in my game originally, so if I install these heads, will I encounter problems? If I remove BH, all the NPC's I'll have met in game will have invisible heads. I don't want to start a new game.
Thanks!

Beautiful work as always, love Estoril. :D

What's next? You'll work on whatever you will, of course, but if I may put in a request for the Nords... ;)
