I think just the Bretons, High Elves, Nords and Orcs so far.
Links are in the OP.

I always feel like celebrating whenever Westly releases something! :celebration: Now I'll just sit back and wait for my game to be completed with the Dark Elves and Imperials. Game's not working well ATM anyway. ;)

I don't know why you're trying to hide those releases, they're awesome. :P

I am not hiding them for the sake of shyness; its more that I make it a bit of a game to find them :D.
And, of course, the Dark Elves and Imperials are next (though I think I will split them up in two releases
for their respective races :D ).

Me like!
This might just be my new head replacer since Better Heads makes my game lagg to [censored] when I'm in towns.

Awesome work as always mate!

Might? How is that even a question?

Westly's Replacer is pretty much going straight to the top of the bunch. I don't see how anyone could stand to use the other ones once Westly gets his done.

Well I must agree it looks really awesome, but I really enjoy the long Altmer face. Not sure how this will turn out but it might be epic, and it might be epic but not for me.

But I'm keeping a close look on this one. :)

That's why I made a version of the High Elves with new textures on the original meshes as well (for those that like the stock meshes but just want new textures :) ). I wouldn't call this head replacer epic, though; its just another option in the vast sea of choices that exist in this great community.

And I totally disagree with you, Westly. Your face pack is seemingly the first to look like the original character concepts, and not feature ridiculous anime elements or celebrity faces. You've created something that has convinced me after 8 years to stick with a face replacer. Thank you.

I'm also with the majority in saying that your head replacers are the best of all that is available. Your work on the redguards and bosmer males is incredible, they are very realistic and still close to the original concepts. :goodjob: Thanks for sharing this!

Umm....Why make the links so hard to find?

And why not use PES? The download delay at 4shared isn't necessary.

You've been supporting the original game meshes, which I have to assume are low-poly and very crude. Why bother? I would think modelers would be all over replacing the dreadful character and monster meshes, and glad to be rid of the originals. I mean, have you actually looked at a Daedroth up close? YIKES! I could build a better model with Legos!

I'll upload them somewhere permanent (PES) once all of the basic pluginless
replacer is complete. For now, I like the 4shared links (its been a good site for
me thus far) The delay is not so much as to be a real bother, is it?

I started on the female Imperials this afternoon, but am not yet ready to show
them just yet. Though, of course, as soon as I am comfortable with the progress
on them, I'll be back with screens ;) .

Actually, AFAIK/in most instances, the new modder made heads are actually
lower in poly count than the original meshes (its just that the new heads make
better use of the surface that is actually visable as the "face" and the rest is
low poly wrap around whereas the originals were more angular but allowed for
a more completely detailed assymetric texture around the complete head).
Also, of the original heads that I have supported, I have smoothed them a bit
(so as to cut down on some of the angular nature). This way, those that just
want a new texture for the original head shapes have a choice as well.

gotta run... :bolt:

4shared's wait can be annoying, but you don't have to sit on the page while it's counting down. I usually open up the link and continue browsing while it's counting down. When it's done, I'll go back and download it. I don't mind the countdown, it's better than having nothing waiting for the whole pack to be released. Not that I'm pressuring you or anything, Westly. ;)

How far are you into completing the Redguards and Wood Elves Wes? Those are the ones I've been especially looking forward too.

After you finish these heads (and do they all come with hair better then the originals?), any chance you could apply your skills to the game monsters? Some of the meshes are so crude I have a hard time believing an advlt made them. And then there are the stretched-out, blurry textures of vomitous bile....

I know we spend a lot of time looking at NPCs, so those heads are awesome, but we occasionally have to fight monsters, too. I know I'd enjoy killing them more if they were prettier....

Please?

Ada already has her own unique face. But I'm sure she'd be happy to see her fellow-countrymen (and women) getting a makeover. ;)
