Last I say all the Bosmer heads were finished, so it's just the hairs that need to be done. I really hope he finishes them soon, I'm really getting quite sick of the Better Heads Bosmer :(

I already use VV now, but alot of those faces in it don't fit and some hairs turns npc's into hippies. I started myself to combine it with emma's headpacks, which is also good, but i'm glad with Westly's work. Westly sticks close to the original and doesn't turn npc's into tyra banks, sarah michelle gellar or sylvester stallone. Some may have no problems with that and it is their own deciscion, but i like to have npc's as Bethesda had made, but then with a better look (and not having huge zulu lips or a face like a gravestone) Although some of the vanilla faces don't look bad, like the imperials and the male bosmers.
I'm glad with these headreplacers so far. I like them. Now Sharn has a better face and it sticks to the original. Currently in my game she looks like a wild one who is escaped from the forest. Oh and with this headpacks; can i just open nifscope and change the texture in it? Or do i have to use the names VV is using for the textures.
I have a few little requests: i guess you also do the dunmer soon. Can you stick with the dunmer also as much as to the original? I like especially to see the Ashlanders as much to the original, since those wise women have a sortkind of feather thing on their head. I also would like to have the Telvanni councillors as much as to the original. I like the vanilla face of Master Aryon. Also, some dunmer have like the Nords paintings in their face and if it is possible i would like to have that as well. Another request of me is regarding the imperials. I think you can guess it already; can you please also stick with those as much as to the originals? I like the vanilla faces which the imperial legion guards have and also like the face of Caius Cosades. Currently Caius doesn't look good in my game and isn't like the original.
Again, thanks for your work so far, Westly.

Candesco....

No worries (as you seem worried that I will not continue with what I was doing; I promise I am not suddenly change the direction of what I have done so far with the Dunmer and Imperials). If the ones that I have made thus far are faithful, then the ones that I will make for the other races will be faitful as well.

Again, no worries :D

This mod replaces all the heads on the NPCs, right? Does that mean Westly went to every single NPC in the game and gave them each their own unique head? That'd be awesome if he did that.

I think he said that he was going to be giving a large majority of NPC's their own heads, yes :) He's going to be neglecting the ones with Helmets though, along with Cloned NPC's.

This is excellent. I haven't seen this thread before, but I knew about the redone vanilla heads from your Master Head Pack. I actually started working on a pluginless replacer based on those heads, because I like how they stay true to the original heads. :)

In a nutshell, this will replace all vanilla heads with your updated versions, and additionally give some NPCs a unique head, correct?
What will you do about the vanilla hairstyles, will you try to make/use versions that look similar to those as well? I always loved http://www.elderscrolls.com/images/downloads/mw_imperial640.jpg and http://www.elderscrolls.com/images/downloads/mw_redguard640.jpg, and I haven't found any equivalents so far. :(

edit: Thanks Krovosos, fixed it.

No, not every single NPC. It's a replacer for the stock vanilla heads from Bethesda. I think it will not give every single NPC an unique head. That is too much work for one person alone and i don't think it isn't possible to do that.

Any progress on this? Or are you still focusing on EFCR (I think that's the acronym) and Melisande's Menagerie?

Well, no real progress to speak of; I am seeking a few permissions
for conversions for a few Redguard hairs. Once I hear back from the
mesh authors, then I will get back to work on the next pluginless
installments.

RL is geting a bit more interesting for me ATM (am going back to
school in the fall [Culinary]), so I am spending a great deal of time
preparing myself for that so that I do not show up completely in the
dark as to my techniques/skills. So this is why much of my modding
has seemingly slowed to a crawl ( a good thing for me, but something
I feel bad about as far as all you wonderful people are concerned, as I
always do my best to see promises like these heads, MM, and EFCR
through :D ).

'Til Later

Wow this is wonderful, probably the only face-replacer I'll ever download. Can't wait to see the Dunmer faces :D

One thing I'm not quite fond of is how the mouths look kinda ... small, for Nords in specific. Ehh, but who am I to criticize :)

Good luck going back to school! :D May be bad for us, but if it's good for you, then RL is more important than Morrowind I think. :P

I had a bit of time today so I have started on refining the Redguard heads (with the females first). No comparison pics just yet, but I thought i would post what I have to keep myself motivated and to continue the hope that for all that are waiting patiently on my finishing this mod.

http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g235/Wesadam/Mod%20Head%20Packs/WAR_RGFTEST01.jpg

Again, these these started with the original Redguard female textures as a base but then followed suit like the other heads that I have already cobbled by adding high rez details. I will get to the others as soon as I am able, but it bears noting that the original Redguard Female texture "00" was basically a darkened version of the first Breton female texture with thicker eyebrows. As a result of this, my version of that particular head will be a uniquely textured head (still reflecting the look of the original, but more ethnically designed, rather than just darkening the Breton female head that I have already textured).

More to come (sooner or later ;) )

Take Care, All
