Cool. ^_^ I had thought about making the switchblade, but wasn't sure what it could be used for, good idea making it into a shield.
Apparently there's a fighting knife and throwing knives in the arsenal as well, were you planning on making either of those as well? :unsure: I ask because I was going to attempt to make the fighting knife....

I talked to Westly about possibly making it so that when the DB assassins spawn in Solthiem, they'll be wearing a version of his armor. He had a few ideas on the matter, so keep an eye out for that mod. I'll be making a seperate thread so as not to detract from this one. :)

Here are some weapons that were converted from Nexon's mod to complement Westy's armor. In no way was this solicited or requested by Westly, I just made them to enjoy the armor for myself more.

@Westly: I hope you dont mind me posting this in your thread. I really dont want to start a new thread, just release these for other people who might like them with your armor.

Westly, i have something weird happen to my character and her armor when i use
a chameleon spell. When i use the spell Chameleon then this is what happens to her?

For some reason, this is fairly common with BB clothing. Clothing can disappear underwater too. I'm not sure what the cause is, but I don't think it's an issue with the texture itself, but rather how the game engine handles the BB meshes.

From the Readme and the first post in this Thread.

-Snip-	  Notes/Issues/Bugs*****************************************************************-The Cuirass and Hood meshes in this mod make use of alpha channelsto define their shape (by use of tranparency).  In some instances, when another mesh that makes use of transparencies (say a waterfall mesh)overlaps the meshes that use alphas in this mod, there might be a chance that the harmour might temporarily dissappear.  This is a known issue, and is not specific to this mod (but in all mods that make use ofalpha channeled meshes [also, in any alpha channeled "stock" mesh too]).-Snip-

Indeed, it has less to do with the nature of the BB form/meshes, but rather, the use o
f Alpha channels in said clothing meshes (what makes selected areas of meshes transparent).
It saves on polys to use such methods (as each piece would have to be individually shaped
otherwise); in return, this increases the versatility of singular meshes to take on different forms
solely through texture :) .

Perhaps I will update the mod with an modified "robe" version (un-alpha'd) for those that want
to take screens while cloaked in shadows :) .

i did nothing wrong, well except for not reading the readme in it's entire. :embarrass:

The meshes that I used to make the cuirass do not have a first person counterpart
(else I would have added them in, for sure, at the beginning). Odd, though, since the
way that the armour is set up they should not need a first person mesh (like other BB
meshes), but lo and behold, the arms are left bare :shrug: . I have been meaning to
make a First person option for them (as it is easy enough in the short run). No worries,
though, as I was completely aware of the minor dealy-o with the armour in first person :) .

I cannot seem to get this mod to work. Every time I enter Hodlismod's Amoury in Caldera, i recieve a number of error messages stating that I am missing files. After pressing okay to all of the errors i go up to Hodlismod and barter with him. The armor icons are not the "exclamation point," and i can buy them, but when I try to equip a piece my whole game crashes. How do I fix this?

Sounds like you probable didn't install the meshes and textures in the right folders.

Here's what to do, open the zip file go into the the meshes folder copy that folder in there then go into your morrowind datafiles folder open it's meshes folder and paste. Do the same for textures but in the textures folder.

Still doesn't work. I get the same errors, and whenever my game crashes my laptop makes this weird noise. It's almost like a telegraph.

Inside of your Data Files\Meshes folder, make sure there isn't another folder named meshes. Do the same for textures and icons. Take a screenshot if you have to, but the only reason it would crash is if it's not installed correctly.
