[RELz] Westly Presents Creed of the Assassin

Still doesn't work. I get the same errors, and whenever my game crashes my laptop makes this weird noise. It's almost like a telegraph.

Put the Meshes and Textures (etc.) folders into your Morrowind/Data Files. Not your Morrowind/Data Files/"name of sub-folder". It won't work if you have a Meshes folder in your Meshes folder.... Know what I mean?
Also, be sure to click on "Yes" or "Yes to All" when it asks if you want to overwrite.

This is the easiest way to ensure you didn't miss a file or two, and that everything goes where it should without having to do any copy/pasting.

Try redownloading the download could have gotten corrupted somehow.

Okay, after moving the mod meshes/texture folders out of my regular meshes/texrures sub folders it removed a fw errors, but not all, and my game still crashed.

I would like to click "yes" to overwrite, but every time I try to extract the files via winzip or 7zip, I get errors. I have to manually drag and drop the files from the zip into my Morrowind/data file. 7zip just doesn't do anything period.

It's impossible to drag files directly from a zip file. and DON'T unzip directly to Morrowind/Data. This is a bad habit.
They should be unzipped somewhere temporarily, usually your desktop. Then work from there.
Sorry, I don't understand fully why you're having crashes, or how you are installing. But it is quite simple, so maybe the problem is from something besides this mod?
Read through the Pinned threads at the top of the forums here, find some tutorials on how to install mods.
Good luck, you'll get it soon. :)
Or someone more loquacious will help you, but Westly's mods are the cleanest so it should work.

7zip DOES allow archived files to drag & drop - I do it all the time without fail (WinXP). However as Pluto suggests, I do usually use a temp folder first in most cases.

I'm using Wrye Mash v0.80 and utilize the Replacers Feature to install / uninstall the mod's support files after manually moving the esm/esp to Data Files. It works great for this, and the mod doesn't need to be just a texture replacer - supported file types are bookart, icons, meshes, textures, wav sound; other file types will need to be installed manually. ;)

[edit] Also Wrye Mash v0.84 includes Bain which supersedes the Replacers Feature, and includes support for all file types.

It still simply will not work. Neither my Oblivion nor Morrowind mods ever work, and it's so frustrating. Im running Vista Home Premium 64bit, would that possibly have something to do with the problems?

If you've installed Morrowind in the default location (C:\Program Files), and/or you have UAC enabled, then yes, Vista is most likely your problem. See http://www.gamesas.com/bgsforums/index.php?showtopic=781497 for more details.

So I think the mod is friggin awesome. Except there is a problem with the texture on the tunic. when i use it, the arms are half bear and they seem to conflict with any shirt i wear (or even without a shirt its still the same). Looking at the screenshots it looks like other people are not having the same problem as me.

Here's a screenshot.

That looks like the original arm mesh. Are you using Better Bodies?

No I'm not. Is it needed for this mod? because I was not aware and I probably will download it if so.

I couldn't decide which one I liked best, so I bought them all and decided to use them for different enviroments

Green one works like a charm on the Bitter Coast swamps, and the rust one blends pretty well with the ashlands.

Black one will be used in the cities at night.

The original white would be pretty useless in Morrowind since there's no... how are they called? Acolytes? The guys with the white robes.

To my knowledge (and I could easily be wrong), but I believe Westly pretty much makes everything for BB, and its effect is nice enough that I would recommend getting it anyways.

Short answer to your question, yes, this is made with BB in mind

I use vista. I transferred my Morrowind folder to my desktop so I won't have to deal with all the security bull**** vista puts you through. I haven't had any problems since.

Great mod btw, I'm using this armor for my character right now. It's one of my favorites already, but your stuff is always top notch

So when is someone gonna make this into a Dark Brotherhood armor replacer? I'd do it myself but it's been so long since I've used the CS I forgot how. :P

For a public release, Westly would have to do it.
Since the armor is not for use in public mods.

It is fine if you do use the mesh (by Niero AFAIK) and texture, but if you would rather, I can make a
new texture for you that would be unique to your mod alone. So let me know how you
might envision the hood to appear, and I will do my best to accommodate your wants :) .

Take Care
