Whadaheck? A very strange occurence...

It was the last room of the dungeon, the boss fight was essentially over, when I thought to start recording, hoping to get a nice kill cam. Well, I did, but it wasn't at all what I was expecting. The Deathlord and I were alone in the room, and I even reloaded and killed him again just to make certain there wasn't some small thing hiding in a corner. There wasn't.

Yet, after everyone (the Death Overlord and my character) was dead, I could hear... something that sounded large and winged moving around, but it wasn't there on reload.

Where was this? It was in:

Spoiler
Lost Valkygg.

Judge for yourself, here's https://youtu.be/onceC0rWM64. (it's very short)

Sounded like a Dragon to me!

I have to agree with Turija. What did you do to piss off the game so much? :D

Seems like a simple glitch. Dragons aren't supposed to be indoors, except for that one skeleton dragon, he's special. :D

Heh, I kinda thought up through the floor, since I got blasted to the ceiling... :)

Funny thing is that's not the first time a dragon came out of nowhere to land on Neil's head and trigger a kill cam. At least he was outdoors last time this happened. Those dragons must be really out to get him to come crashing through the roof.

...and it happened again since the time you're talking about, except that last time I didn't die. I was on my horse headed to the Riften Imperial Camp from Ivarstead yesterday. Anyway, I was suddenly knocked from my horse, and a camera rolled (I thought it was a kill cam and my time was done, but I guess it was a "knocdown"cam.) As I watched my character stand up, the dragon's head was about three or four feet away, and he let loose an ice breath that froze everything around me.

Fortunately, I had a level up coming, and I managed to open that just as the cameral finished, so I got my health back, toggled over and swallowed an "essence of Ice Wraith" and managed to run away at a slow crawl. I made it maybe twenty feet, my speed started to return, and the damned dragon landed almost directly on top of me AGAIN, knocking me down, AGAIN! I got lucky, and Lydia distracted it for just long enough so that I could get beneath some trees that weren't too far away, and behind a boulder before the Ice breath hit again. Did I ever tell you I was born in the year of the Dragon? Seems funny, eh..

Sounds like the area being labeled as an "Exterior", and thus a dragon spawns. At least that is a possibility.

But this looks just like my experience in the EEC Warehouse, only for me it was getting knocked around into the water, from boat to boat, etc. Only I specifically knew a dragon spawned because of Deadly Dragons, seeing "Assault has Started!" when I was sneaking through the first part of the area...and had nothing to say but "What?". Cue me getting knocked into a boat a few seconds latter...then to another...etc.

This sounds like some kind of bug or conflict-problem with Deadly Dragons.

Yeah, that's what I thought the first time it happened.

HA! Reminds me of a incident with a Dragon I had recently. It started with an Elder Dragon next to a burning carriage, well, a dead Elder Dragon. I didn't kill it, it was just there... Waiting for me, but dead already. I was able to absorb the soul of this Dragon, and then I went on my merry way! Get to a bandit camp, all goes well, til I get to a small shack. And suddenly a dead Elder Dragon appears! http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=538270994I shrugged it off as the Shack killing the Dragon for daring to crash in to it, but nah, it's the same dead Elder Dragon that I encountered earlier, only with his scales still intact.

Am I done seeing this dead Dragon? No, not in the least. On my way to Ustengrav I had to save and quit because of real life reasons, but as soon as I make it back to that very same save file, what spawns in front of me when I am loaded in to the game? The same dead Elder Dragon that crashed in to a Bandit shack. So I just ignore it. After finishing with Ustengrav I decide to visit Solitude. When I get there, guess what? The same dead Elder Dragon is there waiting for me.

Well, this particular dead Dragon must be lonely, it's following me everywhere I go!

So I did the only sensible thing I could think of. I pulled up the console, clicked on the corpse of this dragon and then typed "markfordelete". I usually just blow up whatever's in my way, but with this dead Dragon, I sort have gotten kind of attached. Like putting down Old Space Yeller.

Neil, you don't bt chance have Deadly Dragons and Helgen Reborn active do ya?

Cause when I had both active I had a couple dragons igor the fact that they were spawning inside... or going through a building or rock.

Their IS a dragon that spawns inside in Helgen Reborn. I'm not sure if that had anything to do with it, but ya never know.

In the words of Balin from The Hobbit: "That, my lad, was a dragon."

I have Deadly Dragons, but not Helgen Reborn.

That's what I think anyway... what I found odd was that I got hit by what seemed to be "unrelenting force" or something similar, but there were no words that I could make out, just that huge growl.

Watched the video and pausing at the 5 second mark reveals a dragon tail zipping by....

I had a similar issue some time ago with a dragon spawning "inside" a mine, but not actually inside the tunnels. Was difficult to kill so I could keep getting ebony....leaving then re-entering the cell didn't seem to make him go away....I forget if I had D.D at that point, but i'm pretty sure I didn't have Helgen Reborn

Well it was a thought... I had a dragon spawn inside Blackthorn manor and inside one of the "vanilla" barrows, when I had Helgen Reborn active.

Yikes, was that Dragon Deadly enough for you? What the heck! Now I can picture your sudden and shocking removal from horseback better. Wow.
