What about feet?

Will our heroes have feet when we look down or will they just be floating torsos?

I don't think you will see your feet, it will just be like it was in Oblivion.

I hope it's a big Hobbit's feet easter egg.

Probably not, but I don't personally mind too much. It is a little weird, but really, how often do you look down like that? I remember playing Crysis 2 and seeing my legs and feet and thinking "Oh man, you can see yourself, that's awesome", and then quickly forgetting about it and not caring.

The improved 3rd person perspective is enough for me.

no you won't see your feet if you watch the demo on the website you can see. so that must mean that you have a beer belly!

I'd like to see my legs and feet...Great Cloth physics...but none of that will happen.

Waiting for PC players to say: Nope, gonna mod it though.

i found a good article talking about feet in video games (no link sorry) but it said something about how our mind crops out our feet in the first place, and you dont need to see them to be in a game, in fact, it would just take up say 25% of your screen, being more of a distraction then a "cool thing" in games like mirrors edge on the other hand, you need your legs and torso, and FEET, to help tell you where you are so you dont misjudge things and miss a side of a building and fall to your death. Here is your answer, TES will never have legs...unless it becomes 3d goggles and you stand in a giant ball and everything you do, the character does...nuff said, thanks for your time

So it can look terrible like the Oblivion feet mod.

I've still yet to play a game on PC that shows feet. It doesn't seem very common.....
(And I'm glad, I think.... everything I've seen about it looks reallly awkward.)

Battlefield 3 is going to be for PC right? It shows your feet in that game.

First-person games that allow you to see your feet/legs have always seemed awkward to me, just because it's a "feeture" that's not often included.

It seems as though 3rd person is becoming the priority for the series now... :(

Hmm. Don't really do the current WW2/multiplayer FPS thing these days. Must be why I missed all the feet.

(DX:HR has no feet. Did Portal 2? Haven't gotten that one yet, but I plan to....)

Great game, Battlefield 3. If you want to get pissed off and even more so when somone sneaks up behind oyu and stabs you in the back and you have to watch them.

I hope not. And we wouldn't need just feet, right? When I look down, I see torso, arms, and legs, too. It's an overrated addition. I'd rather have cloaks, cloth physics or not.

Dark Messiah of Might and Magic had feet. I'd love to see some DMoMM-style kicking action in Skyrim. Honestly, I don't care much about seeing feet when looking down (although I did get rather excited when I looked down for the first time in bf3), all I want to do is kick foes in the gut like you can in DMoMM or Dead Island. And i guess it'd be a bit awkward if you kick someone and your feet come out of nowhere.

Like I said, not really into the whole multiplayer deathmatch thing.

(not a big pvp fan in general. And especially not with Random Internet Scum instead of friends. What little multiplayer I've done in the last decade or two has mostly been co-op. And in MMOs or Diablo-style ARPGs.)

The most impressive game that had this feature is still The Darkness. You could actually see your shoulders and your coat and stuff. Just like irl, you felt very connected, you we're truly there. It would be a great feature for Skyrim, but I wouldn't really mis it either.
