Most likely not by default, although I bet someone is going to make a mod to make it play well with it.

Since mods are coming into play, I have to wonder if this would mean we could expect to see mod style dlc packs coming from Bethesda.
Mind you, this would be a professional, budgeted mod, that doesn't fall into the category of expansion DLC, nor weapons/items DLC packs.
This is the type of mod I would pay for- done professionally, by the games developer.

I hope so on PC, and not by a mod. Mods usually require a lot of different third-party software and coding to get even just half right. I think if Oculus or whatever sells really well Bethesda will add support in the form of a free patch and that it will actually work well.

I hope not. I'm not fan of 3D movies or VR gaming.

Definitely not, Beth will be doing dlc only, no reason for them to do mini dlc mods. That's what the modding community is for.

So because you're not a fan of an optional feature, you think nobody else should be able to enjoy it? As an Oculus DK2 owner I am insulted, this technology is very cool and I support Bethesda allowing some sort of VR Mode.

The problem with making a game VR-ready through mods is that the game is usually hardcoded so that you can't move the character's head seperate from where the gun is aiming. Pointing your gun using your face feels a bit awkward, but with a few simple modifications (that would not be noticeable when the game is played without a virtual reality headset) to the Fallout 4 engine it would be smooth and very enjoyable. The next problem is having hardware good enough to run Fallout 4 with high anti-aliasing at a consistent 60+ fps.
