Now I know most of you will probably laugh at me, and that's ok....but I had a bad case of Sun. afternoon boredom...and I've thought for a long time that Boone vaguely reminded me of someone, just couldn't think who. Adding the hair was what made it pop into my head, tho.

....to give this post a kind of theme...do any companions/npc's remind you of anyone famous (not including their actual voice actors)? Or alternatively, if there was a Fallout movie, who would you pick to play your fave companions? (hope that's an ok kind of topic here...)

However... I don't feel the ingame caracters have enough backstory to really validate putting a face to them. I am rather fond of Raul however and I think that Casting Danny Treyo was a good thing. Lilly was quite good too... But again... I miss alot of backstory... Some deeper caracter development. They could do it in PS:T ten years ago. They should be able to do it now.

I've always thought of Bruce Willis as a good Boone-a-like. Mainly because of the gruff, macho exterior and the corny comments in the heat of battle - "Let me aim that for you next time".

I can imagine him duking it out with an Alan Rickman inspired Caesar, but only with more SMGs and less hunting rifles.

I think Shatner and Harris are both spot-on.

Not sure about Worthington, though. Funny thing is I just watched both Avatar and Titans over the weekend. I never drew the connection.

The similarities between Kirk and Boone are uncanny. But I'd have to say that winawer is right about Bruce Willis for him. That's who he always reminded me of, and Bruce can play any part in any movie and instantly make it watchable. You know what, have Bruce be every character in the Fallout Movie. Caesar, The Lone Wanderer, Shady Sands Citizen Entering Store #2. Just everybody.

Bruce Willis isn't a bad idea....he'd be very good at the stoic gruff characterization I think...altho he's typically chattier than Boone, haha...but he's getting kinda old now.

It was Terminator Salvation that made me think of it. Worthington's the best thing in that movie.

I keep trying to think of actresses but I'm not coming up with any...probably because I don't tend to stick with Cass/Veronica for too long. A non-glamorized version of Natalie Portman for Veronica, maybe? :turned:

If anybody were to play Arcade, it should be Zackary Levi. They may not look that alike, but he voiced the character and I think he would be able to pull it off if it were live action.

Lily's voice sounds just like Nancy Grace to me. There might be some cosmetic similarities as well, with apologies to Lily of course.

This is thinking out of the box but Renee Zellweger could play the hell out of Cassidy (see Cold Mountain). Her Cold Mountain co-star Nicole Kidman could do it as well.

I think Felica Day actually looks really similiar to Veronica anyway.

I agree. I know the OP said "other than voice actors" BUT, if there were a FONV Movie, I'd want Miss Day as Veronica.

Allison Hannigan as Veronica. Big Show as Lilly. Neil Patrick Harris as Arcade. Danny Trejo as Raul. Jason Statham as Boone. Can't think of anyone for Cass.

Agree, Jason Statham would make a great Boone, but if he was programmed in the game to play like
any of the characters Jason Statham has played in his movies, once you recruited Boone, he'd go running off,
you'd see stuff exploding in the distance, then a car would come skidding to a halt, the door would fly open and he'd say "Get In!"
and the rest of the game would be one huge cut-scene of him doing everything and killing everyone in the game.

Niel Patrick Harris again a extremely close match, add a lab coat, slick his hair, put some glasses on.

I always thought that Ray Liotta would be great as Boone. His voice and face remind me of Boone. Also Ray has some "mileage" on him which fits Boone's character.

Well even though I despise Boone I do agree that Bruce Willis would be great actor of choice for him.
