Nothing really. You get a shiny new perk and when you sleep with her as a companion you get an XP bonus for the next hour or so. There is nothing really that great about it.
I hear Piper can be a little jealous if she overhears you flirting with another companion... so do it out of earshot, you two-timer!
Not only does Piper have hyper-sensitive hearing (like almost any woman!), but she wants you all to herself too. Cait on the other hand probably wouldn't mind if you got into bed with anyone as long as she could join in... or watch.
I believe there is a dialogue that gets spoken when you swap from Piper to Cait (or maybe the other way round) where Cait says something like "Hey, maybe we can make this a threesome?" and Piper replies "Not going to happen, Cait."
You could always make Piper dislike you to get her 'Dear John' dialog. Then you can even get back together with her and hear her 'I'm sorry I was wrong I want you back' dialog. So there is a little more you can go for after completing the romance.
Piper don't like when you flirt with other companions but once they are romanced she doesn't seem to care.
Well I was dismissing Curie, and taking Piper on a quest. Curie then told Piper she should write more scientific articles in her paper.
Piper replied real catty "Have you even read any of my articles?" I had to laugh.
To be honest you will hear the same things over and over again from them.
For me the romance when you finally get there was not worth the trouble of putting in extra ch and lady killer points. A damp squib.
But hey it's content.
Now if I could just train them to always stay behind me. And never to shoot before I do ......
Cait is a bit jealous when you flirt with Magnolia. Also, you can take the "a girl in every harbor" approach. Makes it overall easier if you have several bases to get the loiver's embrace.
I can't get myself to romance any of the followers. I know, it is a game and all, but I'm too loyal towards my wife, so much, that it feels weird and like I'm crossing boundaries I shouldn't My wife says I'm crazy (she is a gamer as well) and I probably am. But for now, I will voluntarily friend-zone any companions in the game, lol
Everybody is jealous when you flirt with Magnolia - she is wonder woman after all.
I remember watching Jim Sterlings review of FO4 and in it I think he put it perfectly. By not overexpending resources on the 'Love' mechanics in the game they outdid Biowares system where you could only have one relationship with pretty strict criteria as to who you can enter a relationship with. IE its pretty cool to have a game where being a bisixual polyamorous player is possible.
Though I do really enjoy the Witcher 3 approach where you are in for a pretty big surprise if you decide to go around banging everything in site (the limited number of relationships is a teeny bit disappointing and you cant play a homosixual character (not that I usually do, but the option is cool), but I also remember a great argument where Witcher 3 unlike Fallout and ME/Dragon Age where you are roleplaying a defined character).
Sorry for going off-topic.
They should let us be able to assign romanced companions to a bed, where they'll stay wearing sixy underwear till we decide we want their attention.
Also assignable to an oven, where they dance around in a frilly apron and sixy underwear (picturing Preston or Danse right now) cooking up pies.
No, then it would be too much like real life for me. I play FO4 to get away from all of that ...
Wait...you have people in your house tied to a bed or oven and make them wear frilly stuff and force them to dance and make pies all day till you return?
Well they're not tied to the bed. That would just be silly.
Just curious if you have relationships with Piper, Cait and Curie, you are all standing in a room with a bed and you go to sleep, which one do you sleep with? Or do they all have something to say?
You didn't deny you make them bake pies and force them to dance in frilly stuff all day though
Sounds like a helluva hangover. On the other side, I think I would prefer the doghouse, than sleeping with 2 furies and one naive "woman" thinking this is the new normal
