That true for the NCR, they even are as courageous as chickens.

*puts on legion armor*
*does http://www.livingindefinitely.com/files/ateamblackdayatbadrock012010-02.jpg in front of an NCR squad*
*runs behind a house once the NCR starts chasing*
*cuts down the NCR squad as they come around the corner*
*takes a dump on the NCR corpses*

Got to watch out for chickens in Fallout, though!

I was absolutely horrified, let alone ill-prepared when I decided to peek inside Rose her henhouse. I fled the map in terror letting her oversized chicken escape. :D

Mutant cannibals are not animals. They're cool, but not animals.
More to my list of animals : Bobcats (Lynx for those that don't know what a bobcat is) Red Wolves, Eagles, Hawks, and more abominations. Centaurs & Deathclaws are cool, but we need more abominations. Or if they decide to include any aquatic wildlife they should add in Lion Fish, Jellyfish, Octopi and Eels

I'm REALLY surprised that Fallout New Vegas doesn't have rattlesnakes, it's the desert after all....I mean a rad rattlesnake nest could be pretty wicked.

Apes, mutated apes, normal apes, pink apes. I don't care what kind of apes, I just want apes.

You should see the Librarians in Metro 2033 They look basically like apes, very buff mutant apes. http://metro2033.wikia.com/wiki/Librarian

Zoos

Can't work that way.
Say we have a zoo with 8 elephants.
Then the bombs drop.
Well, unless the zoo keepers unlocked the cages then they're gonna starve to death.
So let's say that some bombing happened at this zoo and let the creatures out, this would mean that at least 3 elephants would have to have died.
Then when they finally get out, 8 of them, how are they going to be able to reproduce sufficiently enough to survive for generations?
Or even survive the nuclear wasteland?
How are they going to survive the mutants that the wastes bring?
A zoo is not the solution for this, hell, cats were widespread before the Great War and they all became extinct because humans ate them.
Who's to say "any" animal from a zoo would have a better chance at survival.

It simply doesn't make any sense to me, logically, how any animals from a zoo is going to survive the wastes.

Holy crap that is a big boar. Those should definitely be included.

I would like to see mutated wolves, adn horses. I also refuse to believe in their extinction. I chalk it up to limitations of the engine.

This.

These african animals would find themselves in a very different habitat than they are used to survive in, ESPECIALLY when the entire place is nuked and burned. If humans have a water shortage and a hard time to survive because of that (among other things), how are elephants and rhinos gonna make it, animals that almost live in the water? They're gonna need to drink more than the 3 litres a day that humans need.

You would think that but we humans turned in to mosters because of the radiation and increased are life span by a huge 900-2000 years. why not a animal?
Also Im sure to save lives they replaced zookeepers with machines. This solves the who takes care of them problem.

they would probably eat cloned foods or something. I mean meat should be easy to clone. Plants? well I did some research and found out plant cloning is the only real life perfect cloning so that could work.

Reproducing? thats tricky. Hmmm possible clone or they incist. I mean they could do what the boars did. I mean look at the north American boars history.
ONLY 8 were brought here not a single bit more. and they multiplied and became the first legal year long hunting animal in the U.S.
Not to hard to say a Lion or snake would do the same. This would produce a more fierce off spring. One that is more mutant then what it was before. Like the hill billys from look out point.

I now right
People think the boars are getting bigger and meaner because they keep having incist. Tis has been proven a few times and shows you what happens when pigs have incist.
