well, i finished peryite's quest... so i have alot of dwemer crap thanks to me being ambushed by centurions every 5 minutes.

alot of the stuff, i turned into dwarven metal ingots, but theres several items that dont serve any purpose, not even a smelting purpose.

dwemer levers, small dwemer levers... a gear/cog, one of those... a gyro... and a dynamo core.

what do these things do... should i keep them for anything, or just sell them?

i need to know, because they're all a waste of space otherwise.

You break them down into dwemer ingots. You need gears for a quest and the dynamos to use the Atronach forge in the College of Winterhold.

the gyros do nothing?

levers are useless?

You need 10 cogs for a random side quest for the College of Winterhold. I really wish you were able to apply magic/smithing to make dwarven machines. Would give me a reason to collect that stuff.

better idea... list EVERY SINGLE DWEMER JUNK ITEM i nthe game... and list what each item is used for...

Cogs for the quest.

Anything that cannot be turned into ingots is junk. The people of Skyrim wouldn't know what to do with gyros etc.

Wait can someone tell me what the atronarch forge is and how to use the Dnamo cores ive just been selling them.

i've been told i needed GEARS for the quest... i've also been told i need COGS for the quest... i dont know which one i really need.

whatever, i'll keep the cogs and the dynamo cores, thats all...

shooting myself in the foot literally would be less painful than dealing with the crap i get from people online.

That is underneath the mages college.

I noticed that the dynamo core is used in one of the recipes but you will need 90 Conjuration for that recipe.

It is definitely cogs for the quest at the College. I just completed that quest not 2 hours ago.

Have you considered that you may need gears for a different quest as the person who replied fail to align the quest with the College of Winterhold at all?

you can smith this stuff like ore. in whiterun direct on the right side after the great maindoor. then you can use it to make heavy dwemer armor
