For badass mage effect, two staves.

For serious mode, which will be all the time, two Fire spells.

I'm going to go with the boring sword and shield combo... although I definitely will, at least once, try dual-wielding fire spells and utilize both as flamethrowers at the same time. I just must see it. :flamethrower:

As for my character, I will be dual-wielding longswords (or claymores if possible) when I am not casting spells with one hand or dual-wielding spells.

If I do any duel wielding at all,(i'm hoping they have something that makes 2hands as fresh as duel) I'll probably go duel mace, or if not that then mace and dagger.

On the other hand, duel daggers could be cool, mod in a guy fawkes mask, go vendetta on skyrim.

Dunmer Warrior Mage: Longsword and Fire Spell
Nord Warrior: Longsword and Shield
Dunmer Assassin: Shortsword and Dagger or Dual Shortswords

Daggers for my thief (Argonian), swords for my warrior (Nord) and then many other combinations.
