I would say sheilds, but it seems that people have already beaten me to it, if possible I'd love to dual wield a rapier and a dagger, else a katana and wakizashi... last case scenario a sword and dagger....less realistic but should still be fun.

What I will do (if the necessary equipment is available) Nasty looking longsword and Tomahawk, ala Sleepy Hollow

I was going to use two swords but I heard that you cannot block with two weapons so I may avoid it all together.

With the shield bash I think my main will be longsword and shield - boring I know but it is the most realistic way to play games like this.

I will have modifiers though... depending on the foes.
