What are some easier quests?

Post » Mon Feb 22, 2016 9:47 pm

I've been playing for a while now but I'm not very good.

I've got the best armour I can find and laser rifle and I'm modded all over but... I just svck.

I'm level 20, can anyone give me mission titles of some easier quests? You know... Where I can't get eaten or ambushed?

hmmmm well most of the quests involve killing enemies, you can always run away, use a follower, that might help, lower difficulty, you're gonna have to kill enemies in the game, use VATS and put some points into perception, mod some good weapons, as you level up you'll get some better weapons like the assault rifle, combat shotgun, plasma rifle, laser rifle is decent but you need to mod your weapons a bit, maybe take a couple levels of rifleman perk, i usually take two level of that ASAP and leave it there the rest of the game, but mod my weapons, just keep playing you'll get better.

If you haven't already, Do the Fire support quest and the one that follows it.

You get a Pretty tough character helping you out.

Vault 81 has a few quests that don't require too much killing

Quests are fine, but aren't repeatable. If you don't mind the effort, pick a faction or two and use them to grind some XP.

Concentrate on a specific build type for maximum effect, i.e. sniper semi-auto guns use perks PER and AGI plus Rifleman (semi-auto upgrade), MrSandman (bonus for suppressed weapon sneak attack), Ninja (bonus for sneak attack)

You may also want to invest in defensive perks (Toughness, Reflector).

If you aren't finding fabulous enough weapons and armor, you may want to put points into Gun Nut, Science!, or Armorer.

Up the perks that relate to your game play ! Not just the main special, but the individual perks them selfs

Not all guns are good for one type of monster etc

In my opinion the game is too easy, on normal , but have u tryed to lower the level to suit u ?

Exploring the top left area of the map is easygoing , if u read the load screens you get clues !

Yeah... That's pretty much what I'm doing. Thanks for the advice though. I just can't seem to do enough damage and I've modded all of my guns with stuff that says "superior damage, better damage" I have gun nut and science perks... Oh and I'm on the easiest difficulty.

I started my first game on normal.... Got killed by boatflys in sanctuary.

Are you talking advantage of chaining together the perk bonuses? They multiply! Check the wiki for the gory details but that is how snipers get about five times the weapon damage with a single shot from cover.

If you have a weapon that fires explosive ammo, you can chain the perk that improves that weapon with Demolition. Don't stand too close, btw.

Crouch when you're shooting, it improves your aim. I don't use vats at all and I sneak a lot. Mod the pipe revolver with a medium scope and use it to see what's ahead of you. Kill them with a head shot, vats won't work from far away with the pistol. If you wait for them to stop moving and hold your breath, one shot will kill them most of the time.

Some of the easiest quests are in diamond city. About half the NPCs in that town have a quest and several of them don't involve combat.

Don't feel bad, I svck at Fallout 4 as well. You are not alone. It does get if you select perks that are for the weapons you use. Once I put a perk into a weapon I am using, for instance melee weapons, I am finding the game easier now.
