mine is pretty weak

Basically any system can run even the highest quality textures.
Texture quality is rarely one of the factors that has any impact on performance.

Need suggestions?

If your system has a minimum 256 MB of dedicated video memory (on a dedicated video card) textures are not a problem for you

i have a 128mb and if i try to run Darknuts 1024 or any of the higher resolution texture re placers i get a slide show

as i said my pc is weak

You could also try out "richer textures" which is designed exactly for that purpose.
