To the OP - Occasionally there are threads on this forum where someone asks "Show us what you're playing with" And posters regulary show their modlist with counts over 100 - there are some patterns to the lists but the beauty of Morrowind and its mods is that you can pick and choose ones for the type of game you want to play whether that be a standard player:
1. warrior (weapon, armour and dungeon mods)
2. Mage (magicka regenerating scripts, enchanted items, alchemy sorting and chair polishing mods)
3. Stealthy (lighting and sneaking abilities, thief quests large homes with storage for everything that has been nicked or enhanced merchant wallets so they will buy it all in one day)
Or the non-standard player:
4. Sightseer (texture and mesh replacers, MGE)
5. Social Player (LGNPC, quests, face, hair and clothing mods)
6. The lets make this as real as possible Player (Galsiah's leveling, NOM, MW Crafting)
7. The voyeur player - oops can't talk about those mods here
Or there is the no-player:
8. just collects mods - looks at them in the CS or Nifskope and admires or criticises the work put in
9. the forum goer - knows a lot about mods likely never got past level 10 in the game but has found thier true calling is spending time here making friends and trying to get their Master or Patriarch achievement by commenting as much as they can in threads normally things like - "that looks good"
So it's hard to recommend modlists if we don't know what kind of player you are
