What are the Pre-war suits based on?

See title. To me, they look like they are based on the "Continental" style suit, popular in America during the late 1950's. However, one can argue that they are based on the "Ivy League" style suit, also popular in 1950's America. Or are they an amalgamation of various styles ranging from the early 1940's to the late 1950's.

And, come to think of it, why is there a serious lack of late 40's early 50's "Bold Look" style suits in the world of Fallout? Those suits look amazing, imo.

Would add pictures, but I seem to not be able to do that.

I don't believe it's based on anything, just a typical two button suit.

'Bold look' would be the styles shifting into the iconic 'rockabilly' mid-late 50s. If you mean pink shirts, yellow shirts and patterned ties, those were atypical styles as the suit cultures of the US got pretty conserved up until the 1970s when the leisure suit came into fashion.
