Gtx 970 reference version
8 gigs of ram
500 watt powersupply
I get pretty good fps 60 through out my play. Everything is set on very high.
Also when i spawn in about 100 ai bots to fight it's still smooth pretty much.
What about you all
i7 4790k @4.8 ghz - Water Cooled
Gtx 980ti @ stock
16gb of corsair ram
850pro SSD
Windows 10
I play at 1440p "2k" with a 27inch asus monitor.
Well FO4 fried my AMD card on my laptop, well probably didn't,..... so took the opportunity to build a new rig this past week.
Gigabyte GA-Z170XP-SLI MB

Smooth as glass with your favorite lube......
Rig in sig.
I run 2560 x 1440 for Fallout 4 due to many 2k and 4k texture mods, Re-shade, MSAA and other settings which improve graphics quality.
Setup in sig I run several texture mods, re-shade, ENBoost, and run on ultra at 1080p. FPS capped at 60, I very rarely have any FPS dips.
i5 3570k 3.40ghz, 8gb ram, GTX 970 4gb vram at a resolution of 1366x768 with everything set to ultra settings. Everything runs silky smooth with no lag or hitches.
lol
By the way, the graphic is decent but frame rate is not very good on PS4.
gtx 980 4g
i7- 4790k 4ghz
1tb hdd
8g ram
some fancy asus mb I can't remember the letter and numbers
Runs all max settings like a champ, but I'm hooked to a tv so it's locked at 1080p
i7 4790 @ 4.00GHz (factory speed) but I have overclocked it in bios. I think 12% or something like that. Cooled by a Noctua UH12 cooler.
Asus Z97-pro gramer MB.
Asus GF Ti560 CUII,
8GB RAM XMS3
SSD 240GB system drive, don't remember make/model. Possibly a crucial drive
regular SATA drive 500GB dedicated for games.
Corsair AX750 power supply
BenQ E2200HD widescreen monitor.
Graphics card is a bit old but it works although I obviously don't max settings.
Intel E6600 overclocked to 3400 Mhz on an ASUS P5wdh-delux 4Gb DDR2 Ram Win7 Pro, ATI 5670 1Gb video - on high, shadows turned down , god rays off. texture replacers. FPS 30 to 40 in Sanctuary, Below 20 in the Financial district. 19 inch 4/3 monitor 1024/768. Works as expected for a 10 year old computer, but I seem to be missing out on a lot of the problems people are having on newer hardware.---This computer does not even meet Skyrim minimum specs.
Before replacing the GPU in my desktop that died two days before Fallout 4 was released, I was playing it n my Dell Latitude 3540 laptop:
Core i5-4200u
Radeon HD 8850m
1080p screen (but played at 1600x900)
8GB RAM
I got decent performance with a mix of low and medium graphic settings and I disabled all shadows in FalloutPref.ini.
Once I got my GTX 970 I was able to play on my PC (i5-4670k).
I'm going to be building a DAW/Gaming rig soon and have been looking at the Gtx 970 series video cards.
I've read great reviews on it with the exception that some people are hearing a high pitched whine coming from the coils on the card itself.
You guys that have this card, have you heard this sound and is it loud? I'm worried I'll get one that's making this noise and my mic's will pick it up when I'm recording.
Thanks!
Shane
Intel i-7 4790
Nvidia gtx 980
16 gb ram
My monitor is really old though. 1920x1200 , 60 Hz
Ultra high settings, I get 60 fps, very rare it drops to 40.
I run a stand alone DAC and it sounds very nice. I would not use the audio from a video card for a DAW myself.
Ancient i5 750 and a GTX 780 to run my 2560x1600 display. It is sweet.
Thanks. I have an external one too. It's an older recording interface but it's dying. Some kind of internal relay clicks wildly when I activate the phantom power for my mic's with or without a mic connected.
I have the same CPU as you do. It's good to know that it can handle FO4 if I decide to keep it. I'm thinking I'll slap a Gtx970 in, put in some more ram, an ssd drive (the drives have died that's why I'm thinking of building a new one) and just use the embedded video on the mobo of the new DAW that I build. Or the ancient card I'm currently using in my 750. Recording software doesn't require any video processing power unless you are doing video editing which I'm not.
Thanks.
My rig originally came with a 2 GB AMD Radeon card, but I switched it out for the 4 gig Nvidia one.
My games run pretty smooth, without any issues. I just find that Win 10 has so many background processes running, it's ridiculous. I had to trick the system to shut down Cortana completely and I also have to make sure that Superfetch isn't running. Otherwise I will have issues with stuttering sound and/or FPS drops. I'm really debating of switching back to Win 7, since I have never encountered issues with any of my games while running that OS.
nothing special but it works good for me

Yea , runs very good and is nothing slowed it down yet .. is a year in the making so cost wasn't all at once .
I do run evga precision x at custom fan speeds
i7-950
HD7970
8GB RAM
I run it at 1080p and have disabled Screen Space Reflections, and put God Rays on Low and Shadows at Medium Quality and Distance. I also recently bumped Draw Distance down to High from Ultra for better performance in Boston.
Game still looks great, and now runs great. I'm hoping my 7970 can last me until Pascal. I'll be taking a look at Zen too.
BTW OP, there is no "very High", just High and Ultra.
