So, what are you doing to cope with the copius amount of time between the now and 11/11/11?

I'm just going back to all the old MMORPG's that I used to play, apart from Runescape.

Stuff like Eudemons.

Forums, runescape (haters gonna hate) minecraft ([censored] gonna really devoted fan), mount and blade warband (don't like the new fire and sword, warband is better) little bit of a oblivion, although oblivion is starting to get to the point where no amount of mods can make me interested in it again. (I've logged something like 300 hours on steam with oblivion, and another 150 hours when I used to have an xbox 360 before I got a job...) little bit of World of warcraft every now and again, I'm on a private server though (private servers are not illegal, read up) I'll be getting fable 3 on may 20th, (when it comes out for me in the UK), some infinite-ammo-trainer assassins creed brotherhood soldier smashing, maybe a little bit of fallout but I'm not a huge fallout fan, maybe brink although I'm not a huge online FPS guy (My reactions svck and I always end up alt f4'ing, the only online fps I really enjoy is BFBC2 because its less fast-paced than cod) Managing spurs in football manager 2011, owning some kids on fifa 11 while listening to last.fm, quite a long list.

While I am waiting for Skyrim, lots of reading, games such as Medieval Sims (lol), The Witcher 2 (yea!) and possibly, depending on their release date, some GW2.

And then, a little mead and lots of Skyrim 11-11-11.

And perhaps a little more mead...

Hmm. wonder if I can find a horn from which to drink?

Reading a few novels. Right now I'm reading Terry Brooks - The Gypsy Morph.
Playing games. I just got Oblivion and all my mods installed again after a reinstall of windows. I have a new character that I started and will play with that until Skyrim. Also playing some Drakensang: The River Of Time... didn't get far tho as I got back into Oblivion.
I'm also mapping for a 32 level, Doom 2, megawad.
Also real-life junk.

Writing a record with the new band and hopefully being spotted by some indie label that wants to release it. Releasing a split vinyl with a friend. Do some shows. Read some books (currently reading most of Haruki Murakami's stuff, he's great). Play The Witcher 2, La noire, Deus Ex:HR, Uncharted 3 and begin studying again after summer.

Uncharted 3 doesn't release until November too.

That's true, but it's still being released 10 days before Skyrim.

Assembling a new computer, then playing a beautifully overhauled Morrowind until 11/11/11.

I'm taking a whole semester off school for this :tes:

Been playing some old games, NWN, Baldur's Gate 2, plus I've got Drakensang River of Time, Icewind Dale 2, Mount and Blade Warband and Call of Juarez lined up. Enough to keep me busy for a bit.

Outside games I'm working on my social phobia and trying to get out and date more. Got a coffee date next Saturday and I'm playing laser tag with a sci fi group I just joined tonight. Nervous but should be fun.

trying to sort my life out - all that proper stuff. On the recreation side, working on my writing, and playing a vague bit of just cause 2

hopefully going to sort out a decent gaming computer over the summer, and figure out how to avoid having to do anything for a month so I can indulge in excessive amounts of the golden nectar that is a new elder scrolls game.

I am also attempting to overcome my crippling social phobia, since all my friend are away/busy this summer. How's do I?

I signed up to enter this http://www.pointsincase.com/files/u2/cryogenic-freezing.jpg for a few months.

I just hope they don't accidentally set the alarm for 11/11/3011

I will be working...A LOT (work at a theme park so summer will be chaos). Also intend to replay Oblivion, and Fallout 3. Miiiiight get Fallout NV. I would really like to play Daggerfall, but DOSBox if FAR from intuitive for me, and never was able to get it to work without major problems with sound or controls...so meh. :brokencomputer: Plan to save up for a much bigger tv for my gaming enjoyment as well.

Good for you. I went to a therapist. They encourage you to make little steps to get out of your comfort zone a bit at a time until you can take on bigger challenges. The event tonight is a big deal for me because it's going out somewhere I've never been, plus meeting new people, plus drinks afterward at a pub... all give me anxiety. But I want to do it so I have no doubt I'll be able to. I'll just be nervous as hell.

I'd start by talking to a therapist or a life coach or something. And look for anxiety sufferers social clubs in your area. I'm in one of those too (haven't been to a meet yet though) and social phobia and anxiety is the number one problem with the group so it's a pretty common thing.

Well, since I already have my copy pre-ordered and paid for... I am mostly checking the Forums everyday, leaving the sewage that I call opinions on various threads here. In my time away from the Forums, I am playing through Morrowind and Oblivion (loves me those two games) over and over while mixing in healthy doses of Halo: Reach (gots to haves me some Halo...).

So I guess you could say that I am passing the time as best that I can. lol
