I'm not sure yet. I was thinking about not even opening it. Just displaying it as a CE. If they're being shipped on November 10th, I'm not sure I can wait a week for it to arrive to play it. I may end up buying it on Steam also.

Does anyone know if it's being shipped prior to release so that it arrives Nov 10th?

I'll be using mine for the first couple days of playing, just to say that I gave it a try, and then it's off to the display shelf with it.

My NV CE didn't get come until 3 or 4 days after release. Take that as you will.

I had mine ship to the Gamestop in my area so that I could go pick it up on release day. Any way that was an option for you too?

Nothing against Gamestop, but I'd much rather have it delivered directly to my house.

I'm fascinated to watch the backlash against those reselling Pip-Boy Editions.

I understand eBay are killing some Pip-Boy Edition posts and one I saw on Amazon is getting so much hate...

Probably just display it as it probably won't fit my samsung galaxy note 2, I think I'm gonna get more use out of my fallout anthology mini nuke as a secret storage box to be honest

I didn't trust it to make it on time to my house. That's the thing. Atleast i know they'll ensure the package is sent to the store for pickup for release on time

I'll be using the pip-boy daily.. it will shave off quite a bit of time getting dressed in the morning.. one tap of the finger and *Bam* clothes / no-clothes. !!

I'll use the Pip-Boy for the first day then probably just display it in my living room unless I get a sudden urge to put it on.

Edit: can I ask how you did that? When I preordered my pip-boy edition from GS ship to store was not an option at all. Which has had me all nervous, because I want to take vacation to play, but I can't insure when it will arrive at my door step. And being home without the game when others are playing would just be suicide and/or homicide waiting to happen.

Turns out it was actually just pure luck on my end.

I'm pretty friendly with the guys at the one I frequent, and when I mentioned that I had initially missed their first stock, I managed to get one on their re-stock several days later that they were holding for their Edge Card members, and that I had chosen (on the site) to have mine going straight to them to pick up on release, they told me that their first batch of Pip-Boy editions weren't offered that option, and it was only the first re-stock after that that had it as well.

Not sure what the sense in that is, but yeah. The site gave me the option, I chose to do it that way, and didn't find out until a week or so later that that was just about the only batch they did that had that option.
