So what are you in for?

So at the start of Oblivion the player finds himself locked in a cell with no reason given as to why he is there, now since most Elder Scrolls games start with the player in a cell one would assume that Skyrim will be no different and if that is the case what did you do to end up there?

Genocide, I tried to round up all of the Bosmer and force them into camps where I starved and tortured them to death.

That's a great one :D

Probably for creating some kind of alchemical concoction that went horrible bad. Might have killed the caravan I was traveling with...

I don't really know. I haven't put much thought into it.

Being in the wrong place at the wrong time - there's a civil war going on, after all. Depends on the character though, I always play several.

I'm more interested in how I'll get out of jail this time... a dragon trashing the town (and the prison with it) would be cool.

Now this is something...
I'm in for a minor misunderstanding involving a beautiful maiden, but seeing as I am the last Dragonborn - I had a dream about it - I should be out fast. I wonder how I'll get out of the prison...

I summoned a Lich in town. Oops.

Have you ever wondered why there were no children in Oblivion and Morrowind?

Fixed.

I would change that if I were you. It's against the rules to talk about murdering children.

The reasons we ended up in jail have never been revealed, because its not important. What is important is how we escape! I vote for dragon destroying the town and breaking down the jail wall!

I challenged a local mage to a duel. The authorities were less than pleased with me when it turns out I used the spell Shaldior's mirror to reflect the mage's one-hit kill spell back at them.

I tend to go with theft. Seeing as you have no money at the start of the game I play as someone who has ended up homeless and penniless for whatever reason.

Consider it has to be a "lesser" crime. It can′t be a murder, because you have the possibility to be a good guy.
