What's interesting is that there doesn't seem to be a huge difference in the way the soldier and medic are designed to operate. While the Soldier focuses mainly on damage dealing, he still has a support role in the Ammo Box ability. And while the main role of a medic seems to be support, I imagine you'd be doing almost just as much shooting. I realize that the other classes offer support role aspects as well, but I don't feel like the relationship is as closely matched as the medic and soldier.

Heres how I see the amount of people playing:

Operative- most
Soldier-second most
Medic-As rare as an owl at 3 in the afternoon flying around
Engineer-only when one is needed for objective.

Engineer-only when one is needed for objective.

It's true that's the only reason why I would choose, plus it's my least likely to choose.

Same. I'm most likely to be a medic, after that my second choice is soldier.

Well what what I want to play.

Operative
Engineer
Soldier
Medic

Please note I have nothing against medics but I will likely be playing with several who I believe will be rather skill hence I am not needed to play the class.

Here's my list

Operative- seems hard to master this class, so I want to as soon as possible (also another reason I would like to be Light)
Medic- I like healing people, doesn't seem that hard to master though
Soldier- Just because it's better than Engineer to me
Engineer- Only for objectives, all in all Engineer isn't really my play style

Most people want to Operatives so I won't be one.

The operative sounds incredibly cool, but I have a feeling that a lot of folks think he's going to be some kind of lightning fast shadow stealth warrior, and when they don't get that result immediately, might give up on him for a bit and return once they get a little better feel for the game.

Like the Spy from TF2. Plenty of people play them ineffectively but the ones who are really good are terrifying so.

Exactly. From what we know of him, it seems to be that playing him in a way that's useful to the team will be difficult at first, but rewarding once you get it down, though a lot of people that are excited fro him now are going to be frustrated by that initially.
I also get the feeling that the operative is more of a CIA agent than a ninja, which might also let down some people with high expectations as well.

I plan on making a few but the min one i will use for combat is a resistance meduim medic with an assualt rifle to help out my buddies but im also planning on making other people such as the Grim Reaper with a jamiacan accent (The Grim adventures of billy and mandy reference) I like to be back taking out people who dont see me. but close enough to the action to heal people. And we need to settle ting once and for all iam making a Slang thread

There are a number of different combinations I plan on trying out to see what works best for me. Here are a few combinations that will be on my experiment list.

For Lights: Medic and Operative
For Mediums: Medic and Assault
For Heavies: Assault/Engie/Medic

Aww man. Just like with the turtle, it used to be hard to get one and now you can get one for anything

Wasn't that actually the first Pocket Ninja to be handed out? Seems like the new welcome gift to me. Which would mean :turtle: :turtle: :turtle: are finally hard to get again.

Team based game after all. "A wolf withought it's pack is just another hungry dog" after all. (the actual animal that hunts in pack and has leaders, not the lonewolf gamers)
