Anyone look up popular Boston or Irish names for their characters? Thats how I came up with Eva and Conor for mine.

Buffy the ghoul slayer for a female or Max from Dark Angel.

Jack Bauer for male or Bryan Mills from taken either one would work for me.

Okay, let's see if I can help you understand a bit - Codsworth can say your name. Codsworth is a Mr. Handy. Now, all Mr. Handy's pretty much sound the same, don't they? So, even if no other characters in the game can speak your name, every single Mr. Handy out there can potentially call you by name. Even if it is not in the base game, someone will use that aspect in a mod, I am sure. This makes the game feel more immersive, more like my character is really a part of the world and not just shoved into the mix. To me, this makes it worth it.

As to name choices... my female will be Lyla (which I am fairly sure will be on the list, as it was #365 in 2007 and #140 in 2014 - so well within the 500 mark of the 1,000 names). The male name would normally be Hawk - but that's unlikely to be a spoken name, in my opinion, so I'm still thinking on that one. Hopefully I will find one that I like over the next 13 days.

Then again I am not that deep a thinker so 2-caps will do. Most like Shannon for the female SS not that I know any just I always have thought it a nice name.

I was watching "Fargo" the series last night and Ted Danson is now a cast member. It suddenly popped in my head "I'll name my Fallout character 'Sam Malone'!" Or maybe "Norm!"

My character is a female named Sallia.

She is a charismatic doctor, a scientist and a slayer of raiders.
