What are you gonna do after the tutorial in Skyrim

Post » Fri May 20, 2011 11:12 am

I wouldn't like to say 100% what i'll do once free to roam. That could change on the day i get the game. Thats whats good about the elder scrolls ( and 100 or so other things ),is that you can choose to do whatever. At the moment,i'll chose between two things. 1: Go on a walk about taking in the scenery 2: head to the nearest village, town or city, and see what things are available from the start...as in bows, weapons ,armour, clothes etc. But that could change i may do something different when 11:11:11 comes.....either way it's great

I voted other, because it could be anything when the time comes :)

These sound great guys hey i have a questions that is kinda off topic but i dont want to start another thread over it because its a waste of time its one question.. A lot of you guys are saying you will only join a Faction if it is in the area ( stealth magic warrior) that best suits your character..could i stil do all of the factions and specialize in one of the three areas or do you think that will turn me into a mix of the areas (warrior mage..stealth warrior..things like that) because when i start skyrim i was going to try and join all of the guilds immediately out of the tutorial but not if it messes with my characters stats because ya.. although i want to do all of the missions in the game each time i play i still want to be apart of one of the major classes if you will..can anyone help

I'm gonna get lost. I did this in Oblvion (i didn't know i even had fast-travel). When i walked out, i decided i was gonna hike up the mountain in front of me. I eventually found an imperial guard on horseback and i hit him and stole his horse. come to think of it, i shouldn't have been able to steal his horse at level one.

I got to the Bruma, and i had to go to jail (for stealing the horse, because when one guard knows it, all guards know it.)

I'll pick a random direction, hit auto-run, and run run run till I get that "you cannot go that way, turn back" message.

Well on my first playthrough I will try to do EVERYTHING and be as finished with game as possible, this will probably take about a year or two, I will also be doing another character on the side and this will be my "Role-Play" character where everything would have to make sense.

i think the way i play, is that i start exploring, killing bandits so i can take their stuff, money, buy better gear, level up a lil, do a side quest here and there, etc

First I'll go straight to the nearest city/town and get to know the mechanics. I'll join a few guilds but stay in the city at first; I'll probably go looking into people's boxes to be honest, since he will be poor at first. Then, I guess I'll do a few guild quests, go dungeon raiding, and exploring.
Can't wait!

I will walk across the land untill I find a tiny cottage in the middle of nowhere. After murdering the inhabitants from afar with my bow, I will settle down in my newly aquired home and take a rest.

Sell my loot from the tutorial that I don't plan on using then explore the cities, villages and wilderness, do a bit of RPing (i.e. ignore the main quest line and go off to do guild quests and Radiant Story generated quests until I level up enough to be a true Dovhakiin)

Look around for the highest thing I can see, go there and try to get to the top, and then proceed to jump off.

By then I'll know what I really want to do and I'll have a handle on the controls, so I'll play it by ear after that.

I've gotten to where I do the main quest first, and then explore the world and its quests. I may get sidetracked now and then, but my overall focus is the main questline. After that I can start some exploring and guild quests.

I'm going to try getting lost in the wilderness while the game is still new to me. Adventuring is never as much fun after your first time.

I'll try to gather as much info as possible about what's happening in Skyrim and Tamriel. I guess the local tavern is the first place I visit. After that the next city/village, and the next and so on.

As soon as I'm free, I'm going to save the game. Then I'm going to explore the wilderness for an hour or two, taking in the sights, and getting used to the new combat system while I go from town to town talking to people at taverns/pubs. The most important thing to me is to find out what's going on with the civil war, and what's happened since the events of Oblivion.

It won't be so bad, since we'll know much more closer to the release date.

EDIT: And I'll probably look for the shrine for Sheogorath for my own personal, curiosities... :whistling:
