What are you most excited about in Skyrim?

Post » Tue May 17, 2011 2:05 am

What particular feature that has been announced (or that you hope will be announced) has you the most excited about playing Skyrim?
I for one LOVE the art direction and the graphics, but most of all I am excited for a more stylized game. I want more exotic Dunmer influence from the east along with the amazing new Nord aesthetics they are creating. Anything with more lore and personality than Oblivion has my mouth watering :]

The combat looks fun, and we need that.
And the magic system, I want it overhauled to be even better, more effects not less. But that fits into combat so...

I'm most excited about Skyrim actually coming. The details are trivial, as far as I'm concerned. I'm just glad to be getting another Elder Scrolls game.

That fact that it's a new TES game makes it a MUST buy by default in my book, but If i had to pick one thing.. The setting I guess, I'm really happy with the setting

Seeing a new setting, Skyrim always has seemed to be impressive to me. I like how some of the Empire's influence will be gone. Hopefully there will be new guilds and institutions.
Fighting dragons (I hope it won't be an anticlimix).
Climbing the Throat of the World (same hopes as above).
Good-looking characters, radiant story.

New Elder Scrolls game since 2006

wow in less than two months it will be five years since the last elder scrolls. Been too long can't wait for skyrim. When skyrim releases it will be close to six years between games. I'm ready.

The game has so much potential in the plot line, and it will be a nice change to get away from the medieval Europe theme of Oblivion and try somthing more exotic.

Can't wait, just as in Fallout 3, to choose my first perk. Agonising for ages will be required.

I'm most excited about the fact that it exists! The Elder Scrolls being my favorite series and all. To get more specific, new lore! :read:

Like many have said, the fact that its a new TES experience in a new setting, exploring this new land, finding new places, defeating new beasts, just experiencing this masterpiece.

Mostly it's the chance to explore a new corner of Tamriel. The concept art makes it look like a pretty cool place to see.

Just having another huge TES game to play for hundreds of hours. Whatever form it takes, I KNOW I will find SOMETHING to love about it. It will feel different, I'm sure, but I'm adaptable.

I'm most excited for the variety in customization they appear to be putting into the game. Facepaint, scars, dual wield anything, create your class based on your gameplay.

Also I'm super soaked over being caught up in Civil War. That's just awesome
