What is the most exiting thing about Skyrim.
I want your opinion whether it is, gameplay, Story or the gigantic size of this game!

Me, personally am exited about all three of the things I mentioned above. Also it's [censored] Elder Scrolls, enough said right?

The release date

For Skyrim:
Edit: just kidding, I would say dual-weilding weapons/magic system. I think its really interesting how we can combine spells and use both arms separately (it gives ES alot of depth to gameplay)

For Elder Scrolls series:

the open world aspect of it, I like doing what I want, (options + customization are very important + allowing us to choose how we play is a great thing)

I want to explore every nook and cranny in the game and see what I find. I overused the wiki when I first played Oblivion and this time I want to find things myself and let the chips fall where they may.

And then, there's the dragons. :ahhh: :twirl:

I haven't yet pre ordered for 3 reasons.

1) I am not sure yet whether to get it for 360 or PC.

2) I don't think the pre order bonus is that interesting to me. A cloth map is a bit meh, and the CE is a bit overpriced.

3) I will easily be able to get from local supermarket anyway without needing to pre order.

Well in my opinion if your PC is capable of running Skyrim I'd choose PC mainly because when (and they will) mods come out, it can be a good addition to the game. But if your PC cannot handle it i suggest 360, unless you want extreme lag, or worse the game not to run at all.

I use Gamestop and Amazon for my The Elder Scrolls needs...yes, I preordered. I'll be going to Gamestop on release day at lunch to get the game in my hands.

My PC can easily handle it

i5 2500k
GTX 570
4gb Ram

Might be buying a 80gb SSD (not sure yet)

-------------------------

Played on a 32" Samsung tv

My concern is I am not a huge fan of Steam, but maybe I will just have to live with it. Either way it will be a great game on any platform

You can get a hard copy. I'm not sure do you need Steam to play Skyrim?

Everything! My "most excited" varies most of the time when I go down to it, right now I am very excited for the environments, and dungeons.

Beards, bar brawls, dual-wielding, the new enchantment system, the look of the game, a new world to explore, more lore to uncover, better character customisation...

Yes even with a hard copy you will need Steam to verify that it is not a pirate copy whenever you want to play it. I am all for preventing piracy but it's just I hate to be forced into a relationship with a 3rd party to play for a game I bought legally from a shop. Still maybe I'm just being stupid because many people on this forum say Steam is good so maybe I should give it a chance.

I use Steam myself it is a good utility, but I don't like being forced to use it myself. Maybe I'm just a picky bastard I dunno.

Picky like me then :foodndrink: , oh well I either get the game on PC and get a better experience overall or I....... what's the term...... "Cut off my nose to spite my face".

Oh well lets keep on topic and not turn this into a debate about DRM. I am really excited about seeing the new hand crafted dungeons and to see how varied they really are.

Gosh, I'm not sure...everything? I like so much about the game so far, it's hard for me to not look forward to it!
Of course, I won't be able to tell if I like the game until I play it but...I just get this gut feeling...you know?
