what are you playing/ doing to pass the time?

Trying to enjoy the last few weeks before the cold weather with my sports car. Beautiful 65* day today but I hurt something in my neck and I've been sacked out most of the day trying to un-kink it- no trip today. Looked at some vintage firearms yesterday, I do a little bit of collecting. Very tempted to buy a Colt pistol that is a twin to one I already have that was made in 1920. The serial numbers are within 1,000 of each other on a 6 digit serial so they were made the same year most likely. I like that old stuff. Would have liked to go target shooting today too, but- my neck is killing me.

I'll do some reading; I haven't read Lord of the Rings in a couple years so I'll probably start that up soon. My father accidentally damaged a pair of ship models he made in the 1960s, full rigging and all that, and I'm helping him clean and fix them so that's a big project. I'm also looking into some USGI field gear- another thing I collect a little bit of- that I have seen for sale. WWII binoculars and case in really nice shape. Probably will pick those up. Might watch a few films; the Inagaki 'samurai' films are on my shelf, haven't seen them in a while

In between all that I have to fix the door handle on my winter car and find time for working 7am to 4pm. I ain't gonna be bored anytime soon

Dota 2, Minecraft, The Witcher 2 and Dead Island mostly.

Once Battlefield 3 is out ill probably play that up to Skyrim and then switch between the two.

School and work until 10/18 then I will be playing Batman Arkham City. I have tried to think of mod ideas for Skyrim but can't seem to generate any, I guess I'll wait until I actually play the game for that.

Replayed Godfather II, Fable III, portions of Fallout 3, finishing up older Oblivion characters (my vampire)...generally going crazy and thinking about starting an hourly countdown.

I think I responded earlier to this thread and mentioned Dark Souls to pass the time. Well, that was the case until I found the "freeze-after-you-put-20-hours-gameplay-into-one-of-the-hardest-games-out-so-you-have-to-start-a-new-game-again" glitch. So now I am playing LOTR Battle for middle earth.

Keeping a close eye on Ni No Kuni, listening to my favorite video game soundtracks (Baldur's Gate II at this point in time), messing around in Just Cause 2, preparing to apply to universities, condemning Bethesda's horrid PR practices and lack of multiplatform support... you know, the usual.

Dealing with school, checking the forums every now and then, playing Oblivion and looking for a job. Watch a job interupt my Skyrim release weekend, which is 4 days long.

I'm going back to my old pastime. As a cereal killer *holds up a spoon with a wicked edge on it* .

No, in all seriousness I'm reading new books that I recently got. Too bad they won't last me more than a week or two. :S Reading fast can have it disadvantages.

I'm reading Ulysses and Finnegans Wake. That way I won't fall behind in university once Skyrim finally arrives. Oh, and James Joyce beats TES. Please don't flame me too hard!

Been playing Borderlands and Dead Island a lot lately. Also Tropico 3 in order to quench my thirst for Tropico 4 (getting it for Christmas).
School is keeping me busy as well. I like to jog and walk my a lot dog, too.
I'm also reading Duma Key by Stephen King.
And that's about all I'm doing, and with all that I kind of forget about Skyrim most of the time, so it will be here sooner than I think!
